Pros: Good price. Small but well-equipped gym. Pool. Room had a fridge. Bed and pillows were comfortable and the room was quiet.
Cons: towels were remarkably non-absorbent. Felt like I was just moving the water around my body rather than drying it off. Maybe these were brand new and will get better after a few washes? The floor tile in the bathroom and the entryway to the room was a little sticky. Couldn’t see any evidence of dirt or spills, so might have been a result of whatever they use to clean the floors. Everything else about the room was very clean. A six-foot piece of metal molding fell off the top of the automatic doors at the back entrance to the hotel as we came in one night. Almost hit us and grazed the young child of a family on their way out. Scared the heck out of the kid, who was understandably crying. The night clerk, a young guy, came over from his desk around the corner at a leisurely place, said, “Never seen that before”, picked up the molding and walked back to the desk. Didn’t check on the kid.
The guy who checked us in was very helpful throughout our stay. An older guy, a former marine, very friendly.
