We realize we arrived during Fiesta time in San Antonio but there were no Valets to take our luggage out or to give us a ticket to park our car. My husband had to go inside to get somebody to help us. Meanwhile the front of the hotel were full of cars. Not too welcoming to your hotel. The elevators were a bit confusing. Went twice to the hotel's coffee shop but there was no coffee both times according to the young lady behind the counter. This may seem incidental but when you are on vacation the least thing one needs is to worry about parking your car, elevators or not getting a cup of coffee at the hotel's coffee shop.

Beautiful hotel

Beautiful room. Quiet other than NIOSA and a Spurs win, but hey, that's what was going on! Being on the side of the river walk doesn't exactly equate to a view of the river walk because it was directly below, but still a great room and location.

GREAT FACILITY, POOR UPFRNT STAFF, VALET $45 SAD

THE 1ST IMPRESSION BY THE REGISTRATION LADY WAS A "ZERO". HER FIRST WORDS OUT OF HER MOUTH WAS, " SINCE YOU BOOKED 3RD PARTY" WE ONLY HAVE CERTAIN ROOMS AVAILABLE FOR THOSE TYPES. I ASKED AS LONG AS THEY DIDNT FACE THE SIDE THAT WAS IN HEAVY CONSTRUCTION NOISE ACCROSS THE STREET IT WAS FINE. NEXT WAS THE SAME WITH A BAD ATTITUDE, AGAIN SINCE YOU BOOK 3RD PARTY YOU WILL GET ONLY TOWARD THAT SIDE. I ASKED I DIDNT MIND THE ROOM TYPE, BUT WAS NOT ALLOWED TO FINISH. SO SINCE SHE HAD A TRAINEE WITH HER I GUESS SHE NEEDED TO PROVE OR SHOW WHO IS THE CUSTOMER AND NOT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE HOTEL PROPERTY IS FANTASTIC, GREAT FOOD, DRINKS, SHOPPING, BEDDING. THE VALET WAS 45.00 , WOW. YET IT TOOK AN AVERAGE 33 MIN THE 4 TIMES WE ASKED FOR THE CAR. VERY SLOW VALET SERVICE , ESPECIALLY AT LATE NIGHT ARRIVALS FROM NIGHT OUT IN TOWN. WE STAYED OUTSIDE WAITING FOR 45 MIN TO GET SOMEONE TO TAKE THE KEYS. THIS PROPERTY CANNOT CONSIDER THEMSELVES EVEN A 3 STAR WITH THE POOR REGISTRATION STAFF AND THE VALET. EVERYTHING ELSE WAS GREAT AS I STATED.

Great getaway

It was very convenient by the riverwalk and close to everything from shopping, food, entertainment, and the ability to relax with a great view.

Great Hotel

I will definitely stay at the Hilton on my next visit! Can't beat having the River Walk right at the back of the hotel!

Overall a nice stay. However, the beds are not comfortable, they are pretty hard. The pillows are thin. Also, there was construction going on across the street which was our view. Unfortunately, we weren't advised of this and had no idea until we got there. So our "city view" was a construction zone.

Do Not stay here

The air didn't work and the bed was horrible. Parking is way too expensive.
