Nice hotel on the river walk

Pros: Decor, location.
Cons: Phones in the room are old and occasionally do not work at all.
Location: Lots of shopping, sight seeing, and food options around. The location is ideal.
Loved the unique decor and music choices in the lobby and exterior. Love the proximity to the riverwalk. Room service was really well done!

Great location at the San Antonio Riverwalk

Bathroom looked like it was cleaned weeks ago. Only two towels in the bathroom. Dresser was full of dust.

Overpriced and inconvenient

I was excited to book this hotel for a couple nights stay in San Antonio after New Years. The room was small, there was a wine fridge which did us no good to keep perishables cold. Our second night there was a loud event down on the Riverwalk in the La Villiata, unbelievably loud music until almost 12 at night. It was incredibly inconvenient to pay 30 dollars to self park at a garage almost two blocks away. I did know beforehand tha I would be charged for parking, however I expected to be parking closer to the hotel. If I had known prior that parking would be farther away than expected I would have paid for the vallet parking as walking to the car at night made me feel uneasy. The hotel staff was kind but rude when we first arrived (we were in travel clothes from driving all day) and informed me there was "no public bathrooms", after informing them I was checking in their tune changed. It was a nice location besides the noise. The coffee bar was excellent as well. However we will not stay at this hotel again.

Great hotel.....awesome location

Pros: Hotel was neat and clean, modern, but warm...the staff was super friendly....restaurant downstairs was very convenient and the food was delicious
Location: Right on the river walk....very convenient to shopping and the Alamo

4 Start is really a overpriced 2 Star

Check in was very rude and slow.. Room keys keep stop working. $42 Valet and $29 self parking in same garage as public $18 parking! Had to walk two blocks back from parking garage. Very old hotel that states it's a 4.5 start, but condition is that if a 2 star hotel. Much better options on the River Walk for the money! Don't waste your money on this Hilton.
