Pros: The Staff. Hands down.
Cons: The property is older, and you can certainly see improvements and upgrades throughout; however, the rooms fixtures and furniture needs replacig.
Location: It is located near SeaWorld and this is a great location for families.
The staff is exceptional. EVERYONE that I came in contact with was happy, helpful and seemed to love their job. They were the difference at this property. The property has a great outdoor area with fire pits. On Saturday night, families were roasting marshmallows and congregating and socializing with other families. The kids were watching a movie at the pool area - a "Dive-In Movie", if you will. I have stayed at many Hilton properties, and this is by far one of the best experiences I have had with Hilton.

Small for a hotel and spa but comfy

Posted Apr 20, 2017
After checking in and almost being charged for the room again I had to explain that it was paid in full through Expedia. As we walked into our room I noticed that it wasn't the suite I had booked but a regular room in the garden level aka basement like next to the hotel laundry and work rooms which is extremely loud. After telling the front desk I come to find out all the suites were booked and mine was taken .....so much for reservations. I was promised the room I paid for the next day and was given vouchers for their breakfast buffet which was eh ok. The suite was great roomy bathrooms huge, shower door to the stand up shower doesn't really keep the flowing water inside. Kids loved the pool, fire pits for smores were a hit. During checkout I was told I was given the suite on the wrong floor so who knows I might have had a better view than the view of the air conditioner but overall quiet quaint small hotel in a nice Suburban like area.

Nice hotel close to National Shooting Complex

Posted Apr 11, 2017
Cons: I do believe that the CDC came out with a finding that children under 12 should not use hot tubes due to risks of internal organ damage. Need posting
Nicely located close to the National Shooting Complex (12 Min. away). Room and common areas were very nice. Staff were helpful if clueless - who doesn't have bell staff until 8:00 am (when quite a few of us had 8:00 am flights that you have to be at the airport two hours early for? Pool area was in very questionable shape. Walking surfaces in bad shape and hot tub air jets were non functional. Trust me, after shooting all day at a national competition I need a hot tub with functional jets.

Hotel and Spa

Posted Apr 2, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Room service food was poor.
Location: Convent location.
You get what you pay for. It is a clean and comfortable hotel. It is not fancy. Room service food is lacking on the quality/taste catagory. The staff is very kind and helpful when approached. This hotel is good but not the place to stay if you want to be pampered.

SeaWorld Spring Break Family Trip

Posted Mar 14, 2017
Pros: Pool
Cons: More luggage carts and better food service at there restaurant.
Location: SeaWorld is across the street.
This was our second time staying here while taking the family to Seaworld. I was disappointed that we couldn't find a luggage cart to haul our items to the room and was told they only had a few and couldn't be found. After we dragged our items to the room we had an information card that advertised happy hour daily at the pool from 6pm-7pm and it was about to be 6pm and thought it was a good time to get the kids into the pool and have a drink. The bartender at the pool bar didn't have a clue about the happy hour and didn't offer any drink specials. This lead me to notify the front desk to remove this from their information cards if your not going to offer this special. They called the food & beverage manager and he was confused why this was on there and appreciated me telling him and was going to remove. He also offered me a free drink for letting them know. Around 10 minutes later he came down to the pool and apologized again and let me know it was something new for Spring Break and gave the bartender information on the discounted items. We then all headed up to change and came down to enjoy dinner at their only restaurant and catch the outdoor movie that started at 8:30pm. We sat down at a table around 7:40pm and ordered an appetizer and food shortly after. We were one of two tables and our food didn't come out until 30-40 minutes later which by then the movie started and was cold. We returned the food and left unhappy and ordered room service. Overall disappointing.

Bed bugs

Posted Mar 8, 2017
We had an issue with bed bugs and management was dismissive. The hotel sent an engineer to the room to remove the bugs and he confirmed they were bed bugs. The general manager refused to believe it because he stated it had never happened. We could not believe that he did not understand that could happen in a hotel. We left our bags because after a day of back and forth, they said they would heat treat them in their dryer. When I called back 2 days later we found out that not only had that not been done, our bags were mixed with other guests which could possibly contaminate. I later found out they had no return address or numbers to contact us, so they claimed. Jeffery never returned my calls or emails until I threatened to report his establishment to local news stations. I have yet to get my refund as promised or our luggage. We went to Sea World with only the clothes on our backs. This was the WORST hotel stay ever and we were celebrating my son turning 6. The bad thing is if the staff , general manager, would have reached out and returned our calls I possibly would have stayed in the future. Go elsewhere. Customer service is KEY

Thank you for reaching out to us. We take all claims, such as yours seriously, and are required to call in a 3rd party to investigate. Any positive results will initiate very strict protocols to ensure that the room and adjoining rooms are treated and returned to their original condition.

Good value for the rate

Posted Mar 7, 2017
I stayed at the Hilton because I have HHonors membership and the price was right, but my conference was downtown. So, after a loooong conference day I would Uber back to the hotel just for some rest, and unfortunately my room was a little loud. The toilet ran / dripped, there was a loud humming sound in the restroom (generator?), and the hall was a bit busy. I even had a midnight knock on Friday night - wrong room. So while the room itself was fine, the experience was just ok.
