Room/Accommodations Good But Staff Ruined The Trip
Posted Oct 14, 2016
The hotel itself was very pleasant. The lobby is nice and the hallways were well lit with good music pumping through. Our bellhop, "Moe", was definitely by far the best of the staff; accommodating and pleasant.
All of this turned sour when we had realized we left some items in our valeted vehicle. We called down and asked if the items could be obtained and the girl on the phone was very pleasant, inquired about the items and informed us that they'd get them. About 45minutes later, we called down to see if they had been obtained. The receptionist knew nothing of our request and informed us it was best for us to talk to valet specifically.
It took valet another 30minutes to come with the car for us to search ourselves.
We then left keys for a late guest in a room we had checked-in for them. When that guest arrived, they did not have the keys and I drove back to the hotel. Upon arriving to the hotel, the receptionist explained that "if the keys were sitting there, someone would've just thrown them away." I was not only confused but annoyed.
We shrugged it all off and continued our trip. The following day, I called down to get our car an hour early knowing that this $34 service was lacking. The receptionist put me on hold for over 10minutes and then informed me that "due to a high volume, the request could not be made" and that I would have to come down myself to valet.
Check out was an equally delayed and lackluster display of customer service.
