It was an inconvenience when checking in they did not have my room available and it was well after 4pm. Also the staff was very short and quick did not explain to me that I needed a tag for parking. When I brought it up to her attention the clerk said she forgot.

Lovely view of river walk from our window and just a few steps from the hotels back door. short 12 min. walk to tourist area and 8 min walk to the lovely king William historical district. a full breakfast was ready every morning to start the day early. staff were wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel.

You had to find employees to get fresh towels otherwise we did not get any. Breakfast experience was not organized and they were not prepared for the situation.

The hotel was very clean and quiet, staff was wonderful. our window overlooked river walk and all we had to do was walk out the back door of the hotel and river walk was there only a 12 minute walk to downtown.

The hotel is undergoing renovations inside and they are doing a great job! Everything looks clean and fresh. If you walk around outside, stick to the riverwalk side, the neighborhood is a little sketchy, nothing terrible but I for sure wouldn't walk around out there after dark. Super convenient walk on the riverwalk to everything! Spacious clean rooms!

Construction appears to be almost completed. Property is clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful. Right on the river walk but away from the busiest part. That was a bonus for us. It is a short, safe walk to the restaurants on the walk. It is also an easy walk to other restaurants and sites not on the river.

I didn't give this place a 5-star rating because their breakfast could have been much better. The eggs and oatmeal were runny and gross. They ran out of bagels and didn't bring any more. They should use a toaster for the bread because the machine they use requires you to use it around five times on each side to get it brown.

The property was very very nice. Great location, quiet, easy access to everything on the Riverwalk, clean, and great continental breakfast. Highly recommend!

What a wonderfully located, quiet, little hotel! Everything has been wonderful. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The San Antonio River runs behind the hotel. We were able to walk everywhere wet wanted to go. The area is safe. There are scooters and bikes you can rent. There’s an H-E-B nearby. Everything had exceeded our expectations. Yes, there’s some remodeling going on inside, but barely noticeable and not an inconvenience.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying here over the weekend for a little stay-cation getaway. We wanted something close to main downtown but not something right in the middle of everything, and this location was perfect! Far enough to stay out of all the noise and craziness but close enough to walk to all the fun! The hotel is under renovations right now but that didn’t bother us one bit. Everything was still clean and nice and the staff was very kind and helpful. We enjoyed our stay so much and we’ll definitely be back for more stay-cations!

Under construction. Workers were sheetrocking in the room across the hall at 9 AM on a sunday morning. The room was clean, but everything else about this hotel is dated and small. There are other options. If I had known it was under construction I would have stayed elsewhere for the price..... and parking was an extra 40 dollars for 2 nights, which kind of a kick in the face for the fact its currently under construction.

They were in the middle of a extensive remodel and it is hardly fair to judge them at this time. They were making the best of a situation of which they had no control over. Good for them!!

It's a beautiful location on the Riverwalk and would have been wonderful if it wasn't in the middle of remodeling. The room we were assigned, smelled like sheetrock and across the hall they were drilling loudly. Their lobby is closed and you check-in in a small hallway in the back. There are workmen everywhere. However, the staff was great when we complained. They moved us upstairs further away from the construction to a wonderful room with a view of the river. If, as they expect, the construction is finished by April, I'd stay here again. Just wish I had been warned.

In the rooms where nice and clean- the facility is under construction. The doors didn’t open properly to the facility, key cards didn’t open the parking gate after registration. Smelled like paint and we never saw when booking the facility was undergoing construction. Saw a contractor smoking and urinating in the parking lot next to his vehicle.
