Amazing Experience

Pros: The lazy river was great. I could relax and float by the pool, beach, and slide to check on my kids.
Cons: Bring drinks for your room because the prices at the store and outlets were outrageous. $4 for a bottle of water...really?
Location: We visited our son at Lackland AFB. This was very close. Went on a cave tour about 45 min away. Plan to come back and stay when we go to SeaWorld.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating from the time we arrived at valet until we left at checkout. Great service, wonderful amenities, and fun for all. We will return.

This is our second visit to this resort and we love it. From when we first walk in to when we depart the experience is just enjoyable. Will continue to come back again and again!

Nice resort hotel

Pros: Easy self park. Nice open lobby. Lazy river. Nice and courteous staff.
Cons: Somehow work in a "deli" kingd of eating. Little ones don't do well at sit down dining, especially if it takes a while.
Our extended family spent a long weekend and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the lazy river. He General Store was a go-to place for a quick morning breakfast. The weak link for us was dining. The cafe had a buffet each night and the meals all felt the same. Ordering off the menu resulted in a slow food delivery. The buffet folks were done way ahead of those ordering from the menu. The rooms were a little tight, not much extra space for having family members in. But this is a minor issue as rooms are for sleeping.

I expected a lot more for the price i paid. everything was old, outdated, and dirty. The food and coffee were HORRIBLE - do not order room service or make coffee in your room. staff was rude when i called and told them i had no room service menu and took 1 hour to bring me one very far from san antonio. 30-40 minutes in uber + the hotel is so removed that it took another 15 minutes for an uber to get there. pro: when asked, they gave me good toothbrush and toothpaste.

Great relaxing place to stay!

Pros: Old Texas rustic style.
Cons: Can't improve what is already great!
Location: You have many restaurants close by, and sea world is across the street.
This is a great relaxing place to stay with the whole family. The facilities are first class and the staff is very friendly. They lazy river is truly amazing, well shaded, with a very nice feel to it. Oh and the drinks at the pool bar are incredible!

Not impressed for the price

This was a nice hotel. The lazy river is by far the best part. The room was very small and the beds have wood foot boards and I know I wasn't the only guest walking away with bruises from this. The bathroom sink area is a lot of waisted space. All the pool restaurants closed at 5pm. I don't feel the 5 acre water park was worth the extra $$ for the room especially when everything closed so early. Not sure why I paid for the breakfast when you have to make sure they remove it from your bill and you had to go to a very overpriced breakfast buffet. And room service was not included in the breakfast package. I've stayed in all price ranges hotels even in Vegas and this price did not add up to the luxury I expected.

All staff were so kind and helpful. Every single staff member I ran into. Beautiful place, tons of activities, I could go on and on.
