Unhappy with the same.Posted Oct 5, 2015
Me and my families last stay was terrible. There was left over food on the floor that my 10 month old found. So my wife called the desk. The house keeping vacuumed in a hurry just to get out of there. I was using the bathroom, and i find a bug in the bathroom, i started looking for more bugs, i saw hair in the bathtub and on the floor near the bathtub. At around 11:00pm, they said we could move rooms, we moved. In The next room, the TV wouldnt work and the latch of the door was broken, so we moved to another room at 11:30pm. This is with a 10 month old that should have been asleep already. The last room seemed, ok, till we Tried to call room service, but the phone didnt work. Three rooms and something was wrong with every room. And all they did was comp breakfast, valet parking and a free night stay. What makes them think that i would want to stay there again when all i had was problems in three of their rooms. And when i went down to the front desk to ask about something, i noticed trash in the hallway. Didnt think nothing of it until the next morning at 11:30 when we checked out, the trash was still there. For 255.00 a night stay, and it was highly recommended, something more could have been done.

SecurityPosted Sep 30, 2015
Location: The Riverwalk, The Alamo, bike riding, The Missions of San Antoinio, Seg Way tours, lots of food….
We had an issue with some people in the room next door to ours, as well as a few doors down. We were awakened at 2:30am by loud music, shouting and banging on doors. I called guest services and was transferred to security. They were extremely professional and said they would take of the issue. They did! They did not just call the room but came up in person and exclaimed that if they had to come up one more time, they would be kicked out of the hotel. The problem stopped pretty quickly. We have never had this kind of service in regards to a disturbance like this. The hotel staff was courteous and compassionate towards all their other guests by resolving this issue so quickly. Also, we found the entire staff at the hotel to be very helpful, always smiling and never once did we pass a staff member that didn't say hello to us!

Kept waking up with some type of bitesPosted Sep 28, 2015
Pros: Location and Staff
Location: Location right on the Riverwalk. walking distance or short drive to attractions and pretty good views from the hotel room.
The hotel location and stay was comfortable and all the staff were awesome. The problem I had was that I kept waking up in the morning with some type of bites on my legs luckily nothing serious.

Nice hotel right on river walkPosted Sep 27, 2015
Cons: More reasonable car parking charges.
Location: The Riverwalk and Alamo are good but avoid the tour bus as the drivers will drive you insane unless you are nursery school age and add nothing of note
Very nice hotel as you would expect from a Hyatt . Please remember when booking here though to factor in the high cost of parking ( $29 self park $39 valet a day plus about $30 tax ) so bill soon adds up. Staff are vigilant and professional and rooms excellent. Access from hotel elevator onto Riverwalk is a plus and the Alamo is right nearby.

Check in and out was a breeze. The hotel is beautiful, very clean, has friendly/attentive staff and is located smack dab in the middle of everything I wanted to do in San Antonio. This was my first time staying here. I've stayed at several other 3 and 4 star hotels on the Riverwalk but this hotel was by far the most pleasing and comfortable to me. I will only book this hotel from now on when I visit San Antonio in the future. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

Hyatt stayPosted Sep 23, 2015
Pros: Location to everything downtown.
Cons: Better sound barriers on interior windows.
Location: The Alamo is a 5 minute walk, restaurants and bars from 1 minute to 15 minutes depending on where you are going. Museums are close by.
The location to the Riverwalk and the Alamo is fantastic and the hotel staff are outstanding. I would caution those who want quiet to stay away from an interior atrium view. The view is great, but the noise from the open bar rises and the din is heard into the wee hours. We also had to ask housekeeping on a couple of occasions for towels, since they were not replaced after use.
