The staff were the star of the show. From the moment we arrived to the morning we checked out, we felt so well taken care of. The resort is large enough and has enough amenities to spend all your time there. Food and beverages were spendy, but that doesn’t seem out of the ordinary these days. We’ve had great experiences at other JW Marriott resorts and this was no different.

We stayed at the property for spring break and had a great time with our 2 kids! There was plenty to do and plenty of options to eat! The staff was amazing, and room service was quick! If we ever needed anything it was simple to get help!

They have a great pool menu and staff here is awesome. The only drawbacks … they charge $30/nt for SELF park. That’s ridiculous. And the parking lot isn’t a “terrible” hike, but it’s up hill and can be a challenge with kids/luggage. Also, depending on where your room is, be prepared to stay out of it ALL day or you will not get housekeeping. And I’m glad we’re early risers because they started pressure washing the balconies one day at 8:30am.

The resort is amazing! There’s a lot of pools and slides and fun activities for kids. My only complaint is the parking. They charge a parking fee but it’s so hard to find parking.

This is a nice property but on a saturday in january very little open on the property, only 1 restaurant, almost all entry doors locked. Not worth the cost this time of year.

Underwhelming
Hotel is dated. The golf course was nice. 18 Oaks restaurant was mediocre. Food was average and often came out lukewarm. Steak was under seasoned . The pre-fixe menu was $165 a person and drinks 21$ +. The restaurant and High Velocity bar was advertised as 21 year + however there were kids and babies thru out. Not fun! Room service took forever. Overall, don’t recommend.

My family loved the resort, we enjoyed ourselves the best we could’ve. We had a huge issue with the A/C leaking in the room. Which led to my 1 1/2 yr old son stepping in the puddle of water and slipping on the tile and hitting the back of his head. My husband and I were visibly upset & concerned. We brought this up to the night staff & to be honest it seemed as if it was disregarded. Upon check out, the attendant was helpful and beyond courteous and showed empathy. We loved the resort but that situation and how it was handled, we are highly disappointed.

I didn’t like the fact that the hotel is more about making money now. Hot small cup of cocoa $10.00. Elf on the Shelf hunt $12.99 and everything overall had a price tag. The resort alone is already expensive. Also, why advertise such “fun” activities such as the Snow Flow Mountain. That, also had a price tag.

Our stay was not that great. The water pressure in the shower was so strong it cut my forehead. The whole shower was very painful. Our pillows were too small. Worst of all is the cost of internet- when you pay $513 for one night you should get free internet. We ate at the steakhouse too, and it wasn’t that great.
