Convienien to AFB

Checked in very late staff was very friendly and helpful. After I unpacked i found the carpet soaked from a malfunctioning AC drain pan. Too tired to move so called desk on the AM. No issues moved me immediately to new room which there were no operational or cleanliness issues. Very small showers. Only other issue no one filled drinking water cooler in gym for 2+ days. Front desk was exceptional and always willing to help. Fruit was always available at front desk.

Last resort

Arrived to hotel, no towels in room, sheets smelled moldy, no trash can in restroom...thankfully it was only a one night stay but will never stay here again and avoid this place at all cost

Not what I expected

Beds where to small had booked for five and was give two full size beds. Had no other choice but to stay because everything else was booked.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is near AFB It was very easy to get there and back.

Close to the base

Great if u need to b close to base shower heads so low I had to b on my knees one larger water bug but great a.c. and comfortable beds breakfast wasn't much

Not what I expected

I have stayed at other La Quinta Inns and this one has been the WORST ONE!! There were roaches in my room. The room had a musty smell. The utilities had a faded yellow tint to them indicating they have not been replaced in a while OR have not been properly cleaned. The staff was great however. They were very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was perfect. Just 1 mile from the Lackland Air Force Base. If it wasn't for the roaches I would have stayed longer than one night. I had to find a different hotel.

Not like other La Quintas.

So dirty. You had to wear shoes walking across the floor so you don't get covered in dirt and crumbs. The shower was dingy. Moldy on the bottom. The towels still had hair in them from past visitors. The hotel is motel style, room entrances on the outside. It's located right next to a bunch of busy roads, so all night you hear cars and trucks speeding by. Although the staff was sweet, they were extremely loud in their talking to each other while cleaning. I could hear their whole conversation from several rooms down. The breakfast is questionable. Eggs, yogurt and milk sitting out without temperature regulators. Food all over the floor. Never staying here again. It was just as expensive as any other La Quinta.

Nice hotel

It was very convenient for us, because the Air Force base was 3 min away from the hotel. And 20min from town. I love it !

Less then a mile from Lackland AFB. Very small shower/toilet area. Very friendly staff

Not up to La Quinta standards

Pros: Location
Cons: See my experience
Location: Was here for son's graduation from basic training. Didn't look for things to do nearby.
No washcloths, no refrigerator, no trash can liner. The lint and debris in the hand towels made me question if they had even been washed. Toilet paper was not replaced on the roll - just tossed on the top of the toilet. I won't stay here again. Breakfast was based on cereal and milk with coffee. I have to eat low carb but couldn't even find eggs. My wife and I decided to eat elsewhere for breakfast
