Not what we booked but it worked out

We booked a room for five guests, and having found this to be a challenge before we made sure that the reservation confirmed FIVE guests. When we arrived in the middle of the night tired from a long day with three kids to find the room only slept four and could not accommodate a roll away, we were disappointed to say the least. There was only one person on staff at that time of night, as was reasonable. Three parties were checking in at the same time. We waited some time for extra blankets and pillows so that we could make up an extra bed on the floor before going downstair to pick it up ourselves. Although the staff member was doing the best he could and was patient with us, it was not overall a good experience.
Always best to reserve over the phone to confirm the room can accommodate your needs because somewhere there is a disconnect between LaQuinta and Expedia in the occupancy for the listings.
