Good location

Pros: Location, clean, pool
Cons: Problems; asked for 2 queen bed had 2 full beds, toilet stopped up, husband worked on it, no maintenance person and under construction no easy access!
Location: Mexican Market was within walking distance!!
Hotel was clean and had a great Continental Breakfast!! Bagels, toast, waffles, oatmeal with raisins and brown sugar, yogurt with toppings, cold cereal, apple or orange juice, 2% and whole milk, apples, oranges, bananas and coffee or hot tea. Problems; asked for 2 queen bed had 2 full beds, toilet stopped up, husband worked on it, no maintenance person and under construction no easy access! Hotel told me that they had no queen beds!! And after toilet stopped up, we had to change rooms and floors!! mid trip and with 2 small children a real job to move to another room and also put us on another floor. Also, the construction kept the main doors closed, so entry was at other exits, very inconvenient. Ice machine n our floor, but didn't work, then after we changed rooms the ice machine on that floor worked great!!

Horrible.

Our room had little ants everywhere causing my son to be bitten several times at night. At first it was just one or two in the bathroom, but as we were packing up I noticed plenty more crawling in the room. Plumbing didn't work most of the time. Every time you used the bathroom it took an hour before the water stopped trying to refill itself. We werent able to find parking most of the time. The only good thing was the staff was very friendly.

Lovely, spacious rooms near Alamo

Pros: Spacious room with sofa and chair. Plenty of room to move around. Soft, plush towels, comfortable beds, free buffet breakfast.
Cons: Not that I can think of
Location: Located near Alamo and Paseo del Rio, but too far to walk. Uber service from hotel to Paseo del Rio less expensive than cost of parking in garage.
We had 2 rooms for a family stay. Beautiful, recently remodeled hotel. Large rooms with new furniture, including sofas and chairs. Buffet breakfast was above average for hotel free breakfast. Outside remodeling still going on so couldn't enter from the front, but not a problem. Staff and management friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Close to Riverwalk

Overall it was a nice hotel, spacious and clean my only concern was the construction work outside and I can hear it when I was in there trying to relax or nap during the day.

Non stop construction and pool closure

Nice enough hotel. Did not mention non stop construction right outside our room everyday so it was very loud and very dirty everywhere. The pool was closed both days over 100degrees also due to construction which was unfortunate with children. Besides the construction mess the hotel was nice and they staff were kind and as helpful as they could be.

Cons: Would be nice if there was central cooling versus window-mounted air conditioners. Sometimes those can disturb sleep. But this was not a big issue.
Location: The H-E-B across the street was very convenient and a super easy walk to the Riverwalk.
Great location and friendly staff. Everything worked as expected. Fold out couch/bed was very useful.

Not a good experience!

First off hotel was renovating and was not informed, had to go to the back to enter- not very convenient and not many spaces to park, we had to park under a tree where it looked like birds had a poop party on our car! We only had access to 1 elevator for all in hotel. Then our AC went out in the room and called front desk asap, but maintenance had already gone for the day and was told we can move to another room! They did not offer to help move us. This was our 37th wedding anniversary trip and did not need this inconvenience! That was the last straw, we left before staying one more night! As we were checking out the front desk clerk didn't even apologize for our inconvenience! We had a nice rest of our anniversary at the Wyndham Gardens! So DO NOT recommend going to this hotel!
