Pros: The hotel was very clean, and organized.

Great hotel with excellent prices and location. It is walking distance to the river walk and the alamo. I definitely recommend. The breakfast was incredible!!

One block from River walk.

Pros: Most everything except housekeeping.Location is excellent.
Cons: It would be nice if the bar area served sandwiches. They serve appetizers only.
Location: River Walk is great. City Tour to LBJ ranch is great but mismanaged business wise. Hop on and off very good, saw Missions and tower etc. Great city.
What a great hotel with great location. The staff were very accommodating at front desk. The valet service was great. They were informative about places to visit, eat etc. Wish I knew the name of the one valet who was especially helpful. Only criticism was that the room was mostly clean but I had to keep asking for a bath mat, replacement of soap, etc. We had put the notice on the bed to have the sheets changed (we were there 6 nights and after three nights requested sheets to be changed) and I don't think they ever were. I noted too that the dresser needed dusting and that was never done. We were gone so much of the time that I didn't mention it until the second to last day at the desk and they made note and the last two days was better. Housekeeping needs to be monitored is what I would say.

Severely understaffed front desk

No one would answer the desk. Asking anything of the desk required you to wait in line for 15 minutes each time and they always forgot the request.

It was nice. Room was comfortable. We arrived late. Staff not very friendly. Day staff wouldn't discuss late check out. Meeting room and food was good.

Spring Break Finish

The hotel and all was really good. Breakfast was kinda busy, but over all well maintained. Parking fees were a little much. Overall was a great experience.

Hotel with problems

Pros: This hotel was chosen due to the proximity to the Riverwalk.
Cons: Hotel management needs to correct the check in process. The breakfast food and area that is provided is not large enough too accommodate guests.
Location: Located near Alamo, mall, convention center and Riverwalk.
Don't plan on checking in any time near the time posted. We watched day after day the jumbled mess on checking in. We arrived at 6:45pm on a Wednesday and our room was not ready until 8:00 pm that evening. Check-in is supposed to be at 4:00 pm. There was still a lobby full of people when we got our room. Management never showed up to explain why or to help the flow. It is obvious that this hotel is way under staffed and management does not care about customer service but just wants your money for the room. Also valet parking is way over priced. My family typically does not stay in a La Quinta hotel and now I know that it will be a long time if ever that we stay at another one.
