Great location

Comfortable room, the bed was amazing! Checked in late and they were able to give me a late checkout time.

Hotel great upset with the overall experience

I loved the hotel. Great accommodations. My big negative with this was actually because I booked through Expedia. If I would have booked directly through the hotel I could have had a few more amenities. I guess my lesson is learned.

It was very convenient walk out our door in the Riverwalk was there with all the shops and restaurants would definitely do it again

Too expensive for condition

Extremely dated, furnitures were all old and worn down. Mattress was ok not pillows! Dated bathroom! Will. It recommend not stay there if I ever go back! Too expensive for its condition

Hotel Staff NOT very Accommodating !

Pros: We thought that the hotel was in a perfect location for shopping and an evening on the Riverwalk.
Cons: Their parking accommodations and their problem solving skills
Location: A great location IF you can park !!!
Downtown San Antonio was as busy as I have ever seen it and the area around the River Center Mall and Convention Center was in absolute gridlock. When we finally made it to the hotel , we were told that the parking garage and valet parking were full. Despite having obvious parking areas for valet parking in the entry driveway , we were told to go to public parking down the street. Their explanation was that a hotel reservation did not include a place to park ! Three hours later and asking them for help 2 more times , we simply had to leave because we couldn't park our car ! They offered no empathy or sympathy and made no attempt to problem solve. They simply were not interested in helping us ! They could have "temporarily" parked us in the entry area where there was already parked an over sized truck as I have seen many other hotels do in such circumstances but they refused ! Words cannot begin to express our frustration and disappointment which was compounded by their callous attitude.

Awesome experience!

We had 3 rooms with 7 adults and 7 children and the hotel staff were awesome! The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly!

WORST HOTEL STAY EVER !!!

We were looking forward to spending time on the Riverwalk and shopping at the Riverwalk mall . However, downtown San Antonio was in absolute gridlock for holiday events and we were unable to park on site even with valet. We were referred to 2 other nearby parking garages by the hotel staff and they too were also completely full ! Finally, 3 hours later we simply had to give up and check out because we couldn't find a place to park ! I went to the front desk 3 times asking for help and each time I was met with a less than satisfactory response . "It was not their problem and no parking is guaranteed with a reservation". I have been at other hotels when such a condition exists and they do everything they can to help. Frequently the valet service will "park" the overflow vehicles "temporarily" parallel in the entry area and there was a large truck actually parked as such. However despite there being plenty of room curbside , they did not volunteer this option and refused to park it there even after my wife nearly begged them to let us. They had no sympathy for us whatsoever and demonstrated no problem solving. They literally abandoned us ! Words cannot begin to express our disappointment and frustration !

The River Walk is extremely popular this time of year with so many events going on not only in our hotel but in the many surrounding venues. We are very sorry you felt abandoned by our staff. While the hotel cannot control the other events in the surrounding area, our response to you was not Marriott standard. Nice, but not worth the money!

Breakfast was probably the best thing. Nice bed, but very basic room. No ameneties. Hotel entirely overpriced.
