The shower was clogged so water was rising while showering. The bathroom sink faucet leaked out the top onto the counter. The body wash bottle wasn’t replaced before arrival it was completely out. There was a black ring inside the toilet that got cleaned out the next day instead of before arrival. Carpet smelt old. Staff was super nice and friendly, and handled addressed issues we needed handled but I’ll definitely be looking for a different hotel next time I travel to San Antonio.

The room we stayed in was very outdated. The bathroom looked really old and dirty. The bathtub was stained and there was no ventilation in there. The ventilation issue made getting ready challenging as the mirror was too foggy after showering and it felt too humid. The air in the entire room smelled musty and it felt stuffy. The baseboard strip in the room was peeling away from the wall. This made the room look like a motel room. If the room would have been in better shape we would have loved our stay here.

Check in time stated 3pm. However, upon arrival our room was not ready until 4pm. This was challenging with an infant. I would not advertise 3pm as check in if you cannot accommodate it.

Stellar quality. For being an older property, it is very well maintained. Very nice and upscale inside. Downside of breakfast buffet for non-pork eating family. There are no turkey or chicken alternatives and one of us does not eat eggs. Luckily it is convenient to many nearby food places. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant stay. We stay here again.

The concierge named Amie was awesome, so professional, helpful and kind. She gave us great spots to eat and be entertained, we couldn't even get to all of them! The stay was awesome. Pool is very good and it is just 15 mins from downtown, so convenient if you Uber or rent a car. Very easy check in and out.

The Westin has a beautiful "old style" mixed with modern that makes it elegant. The staff was amazing! When we checked in, Chris was very cordial and Miesha was such a sweetheart during check out. I told her that I "grew up" in the hotel business because my father worked in the business for many, many years. Although The Westin is close to a main street it's very quiet. We really enjoyed betting able to dial room service which was delicious and was delivered by Stacey who was also very courteous as well. We will definitely return the next time we are in San Antonio. Thank you for a fabulous stay! ❤️

The desk staff, parking, hotel room were all good. The Starbuck's coffee shop was supposed to open at 6am, but we waited for it to open and it still wasn't at 6:30am - very disappointed
