Cheap beyond belief

When I first checked in, the card I was issued at the front desk wouldn't open my room. The person at the desk argued that he had just made it, but he made another, and it opened the second time. There was no heat in the room, and the desk person couldn't be found. I told him about it the next morning, and he put me in a different room, but I hadn't been able to sleep. The breakfast bar did not offer coffee; the tub did not drain, and the coffeemaker in the room did not work. There was no refrigerator in the room, but other than these things, it was all right.
