Where to Eat

ReBelle - Restaurateur Andrew Goodman with Chef Stefan Bowers have joined the St. Anthony to create the hotels' stunning signature restaurant, Rebelle. At Rebelle, Chef Bowers’ cuisine merges multi-cultural European technique with the bold and unique flavor pairings he’s become known for. The menu offers a unique sharing style and personal plate experience of overnight shipped coastal seafood, Texas Raised Angus Beef, and farm-fresh, locally sourced produce.

The Haunt Lounge - Named after the St. Anthony’s ‘spirits’ of the past, The Haunt reveals a chic, relaxed, and contemporary lounge atmosphere. Indulge in a cold, bracing cocktail and a bite to eat while escaping the broiling central Texas Sun. The signature menu created by ReBelle Chef Stefan Bowers.

The Library Café - Enjoy upscale American breakfast featuring signature dishes by Chef Michael Mata and specialty house-made pastries.

Room service - Available during limited hours.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times. The hotel staff are very friendly, the hotel bar is very relaxing, the rooms are nice and the bed is very comfortable. The hotel is a few mins walk from the Majestic Theater, the Alamo, shopping and bars and restaurants. A great stay and a great location.

Horrible customer service

Pros: Beautiful hotel
Cons: Customer service
The big and only problem with this hotel is that our hotel room along with many other guests was that our room was not ready at check in time (4 pm). Our room was not ready until 7pm. Management did not seem to care about any of the guests who had to wait 3 hours for room. I asked for discount and manager said that since I booked through expedia, I would have to contact expedia for discount.

Aesthetically Pleasing - Very Modern and Luxurious

Pros: The look of the whole place, the lower-rooftop pool and high-rooftop patio area, walking distance from river-walk area, and the beautiful bathrooms.
Cons: Parking was expensive and confusing. The hotel offers valet parking, but I believe it's 40 or so dollars. The nearest self-parking is $20 per 24-hours
Location: The river-walk, Alamo, and Mexican "Market-Square" are all within walking-distance of the hotel, and St. Anthony's has several interesting bar-areas.
Let me just say first the bathrooms here are incredible. The staff is extremely kind and accommodating; our bellhop was friendly and gracious.... great service here and in general the place looks magnificent. My favorite spot was probably the rooftop plaza area that is open to guests (when not reserved by weddings or parties I'm assuming); another favorite would be the lower-rooftop pool and lounge-area. You receive a complimentary shoe shine upon arrival which is also great, and the hotel is only a short walk away from the popular river-walk area (maybe 2 or so blocks? it was very reasonable). My wife and I had a comfortable and lovely stay here... issue-free!

Cons: Service. Kitchen procedures. Cleanliness.
The hotel is nice but the service is lacking. Worst among many is the food poisoning from the chicken wings delieverd by room service.
