Business destination

I have stayed here now twice and enjoy the central location for my business while in San Antonio. Great location and clean rooms. Staff is always great!

Hotel ok; Expedia very bad

Pros: In the past it has been good. But because of Expedia, I was not able to cancel when I needed to.
Cons: Yes, Expedia where was your help when I needed you!
Location: I choose that La Quinta Airport when I either am flying or am meeting someone flying in. The location is good. Book directly with hotel next time.
The hotel is very good; I was a no show for both night simply because I could cancel with Expedia. Their web page is horrible. I tried to click on cancel, it would not let me. I tried over and over . I called the hotel twice and both time they told me that since my reservation was bought through Expedia, they could not cancel it for me. Never, never will I buy through Expedia. I lost two nights of expenses simply because I was never able to cancel on Expedia's web site. Will I hear from Expedia?? Probably not; have they lost a customer: yes. Have I used Expedia before? yes several times in the last few years.

Sleepless Stay

Around 11:30 pm. I was awaken by a load party in the courtyard, which my room was above. I contacted the desk the young lady said she would quiet it down. At 1AM contacted the desk again, the young lady told there was nothing she could do and if I wanted to I could call the police myself. I fell asleep about 1:45am and got up at 5:30 to catch my flight. My advice is if you have an early wake up, don't stay here, very night inexperienced staff member. Everything else was fine!

Bathroom cleanliness

We've stayed here many times and we're very pleased. But this time there were ants crawling all over the bathroom sink and counter.

Close to hotel

Very close to airport. Our room had very foul odor, went to office to exchange rooms, staff was very friendly and gave us another room. The second room was alot better, however, bathrooms are very old. Bathroom tub was old and had stains. Need alot of updating.

Pros: Comfort.
Cons: Clearness on extra costs.
Location: It was good a good location to go to the Alamodome
We have a charge on our Account for $75 from La Quinta. We would like the refund for this as we were told upon booking that everything was inclusive.

Convenient location to highways

Hotel was completely booked, likely due to hurricane evacuees, so breakfast, while generally tasty, was chaotic with waits for everything. The room was very tight and the carpet, tiles, furniture etc. were older and kind of "beat up." The mattresses were comfortable, though. The room was quiet, despite being close to the highways and airport. A number of restaurants within a couple of miles.

Had some issues when we arrived. Hotel staff took care of the situation. Everything was good including breakfast.
