Grossed Out!Posted Oct 8, 2015
Pros: Happy, friendly front desk people and within walking distance of where we needed to be
Cons: Cleanliness and smell
Location: Lots of people walking down the street all hours of the day and night.
We were so grossed out and would have left but we arrived late and my husband had an early morning class. The room smelled like urine, old cigarettes and the bedspread was the worst offender for urine. The air conditioner also emitted a heinous urine smell. The carpet had dead bugs and staples on it making it questionable if it had been vacuumed. The bathroom wall had "stuff" all over it-puke perhaps? The bathroom had dirt and mold/mildew and hair in the corners and all the surfaces such as headboards, tables, walls, etc obviously needed wiping down. The bath/shower needed sprucing up with bleach and grout. The sheets appeared clean but had the stale smell of the room, however the bed covers were gross and there was no bed skirt to hide the disgusting condition of the box springs. Terrified of bed bugs we took full precautions when we left. I was so embarrassed that I booked this hotel-I expected a level of decency from Days Inn but will never patronize this chain again. Neither my husband and I slept much. I wore my shoes the whole time and insisted my kids stay off the floor too. The hotel was full so it must have been a popular weekend. Perhaps we ended up with the worst room in the whole place but if they are all like that you are better off staying in your car. Otherwise bring a bottle of bleach and wipe the place down yourself. And wear your shoes.

Fine location. But it is not at all like what is pictured. It's very dirty. Smells icky, almost like cigarette smoke was seeping through the walls. Didn't even want to look closely at the bed or the carpet. Kept my shoes on the whole time.

Good deal, staff excellent, but...Posted Aug 13, 2015
Pros: The location is close to major hospitals, if visiting in San Bernardino.
Cons: Be serious about non smoking rooms
Location: Easy to get to other areas quickly on freeways. Ontario airport is quick to navigate and not busy.
Personally I don't mind adventurous conditions. This hotel is frequented by quite a few locals, so be prepared. Non-smoking rooms may have been smoking rooms at one time or another. When I asked the desk clerk about my non-smoking room smelling like cigarettes was told it was "a problem in this area." Otherwise, it was a very good deal and the staff is excellent.
