Not what we requested through expedia

We requested a two queen room but got a one king room. This meat that I had to sleep on a roll away bed. The room smelled of old cigarettes even though it was supposed to be a non smoking room. The manager was not able to get us a two bed room so we transferred to another hotel. The manager offered points to make up for it but that was useless to me since we plan to never stay there in the future. Be careful when booking at this hotel since they admitted it was an ongoing issue with best Western.

Location is not too dangerous

Old and very outdated. Parking is crowded. End of people smoke cigarettes outside be prepared to enjoy their second hand smoke because of the air conditioning location. On the bright side the staff was very friendly.

Ghetto area

The hotel itself was nice and clean. The staff was very courteous. Stayed with my husband and two toddlers. The area was ghetto. Transients walking around the neighborhood and around the hotel. One of the stairwells was blocked off because it was broken.

Decent Motel

Pros: Good breakfast and comfortable bed.
Good room and comfort but not a great area! When we checked in the desk clerk advised us not to answer the door if someone knocked during the night! Not what I expected from a Best Western facility!

Disrepair

I woke up in the morning to take a shower and the water would not come on. I contacted the front desk . They sent a maintenance person who attempted 3 time to get the fixture to work and after damaging the fixture was only able to get a trickle. I asked for a refund for my inconvenience, and they offered me only $20.00. The place was marginal at best. I have stayed in much nicer hotels for half the price. I was told to contact Expedia since I booked on Hotels.com. Not a happy camper.

Dog friendly

Pros: price and very clean room. Looked to be recently remodeled
Cons: Housekeeping deliver towels etc outside door when picking up dirties.
Location: Location near D'town, Wasn't much to do nearby. A few restaurants within a mile
Great room, nice facility, good breakfast, shady characters hanging around parking lot, would stay again

No sleep at all

Upstairs neighbors were up all night stomping around. Outside car stereos were loud all hours of the night and the police made a visit as well. Nendless to say I got no sleep.

Not a nice place and or in a good area

Pros: the staff cleaning the rooms were very nice. Front desk people were nice too but didn't seem very accommodating
Cons: The whole place
First off I wanted to be able to leave a really good review but just can't. The only thing I can say good about this place is the staff was nice. The rooms aren't bad but are due for some new mattresses. This was the worst stay at any place we have ever stayed. The price was way too much for being in the area it is located in. We stayed from Thursday evening checked out Monday morning. We couldn't wait to leave the place, its the first place that we have stayed at where we were waiting for the gun fire to start. Friday evening when we got back to the place there was drug deals going on in the parking lot with their stereos turned up so loud. The rest of the stay pretty much the same thing. They put a group of partiers next to us on Saturday night, not only did we complain 3 times but other people in the place staying the night complained, they should have been kicked out of the place but instead they let them stay there and finally at 3:30am they decided to quit partying and go to sleep. If we had not paid ahead of time for the room on the website, I would have cancelled and went else where. They are not very accommodating at this place when it comes to taking care of the drug dealing and the partying that goes on there. Upon checking out I got that the owner is working on getting security hired, (that should have been a priority, not let me take my time), they owner is working with the law enforcement, lots of excuses.
