Wait! You are not imagining a house 🏡 perched on top of a building! Leave it to those quirky engineers at UCSD to figure out a way to put a house at a wild angle on top of their 7 story building. The home named after Found this friend on the beach by the Scripps Institute of Oceanography
Pier.... Caught him in a double take before he drifting back to sleep:) Is it just me or do seals appear to be the best cuddlers!? #cuddlebuddies :)
Take a hike, sit with your toes in the ocean..or sail on the wind like a bird..
I chose to hang on the cliffs and practically high five the Para gliders as they passed..
San Diego County just North of LA Jolla. One of my favor beaches is here in San Diego. Torrey Pines state beach has the most stunning views of cliffs and wildlife know in Southern California. Come check it out! Where it all started!
Founded in 1996 by Jack White in San Diego, California. Ballast Point Brewing Co. started in the back of Home Brew Mart, a homebrew supply store White founded in 1992. As of 2015, it was the second largest brewer in San Diego County and the 17th largest brewery in the country based on sales volume.
Ballast Point is also the first microdistillery in San Diego since Prohibition. They currently produce 14 spirits: Old Grove Gin, Old Grove Barrel Rested Gin, Three Sheets White Rum, Three Sheets Barrel-Aged Rum, Three Sheets Spiced Rum, Opha Herbal Liqueur, Fugu Vodka, four flavored Fugu Vodkas (Horchata, Jamaica hibiscus, Pina, and Habanero), and the Devil's Share Whiskey family, including Single Malt, Bourbon, and Moonshine. However they jumped to huge popularity to their Sculpin IPA. The Sculpin grapefruit IPA is my all around favorite beer! She looks so peaceful gliding above the cliffs at Torrey Pines Park. It's a long way down to the Pacific from here! Sea lions rule La Jolla and in this picture they show who the boss is. I fondly call this picture, Beautiful reading room at The Grand Del Mar. Seriously one of the most gorgeous hotels I've ever had the pleasure of staying in! A Forbes 5 star location with top of the line service & amenities •#HotelStays #Getaway
#Luxury #SanDiego Hiking at Torrey Pines is a must do in San Diego! Great hiking trails that even lead to the beach! #beachbound Heisler Park Fallen Star is an artistic and engineering marvel that perches atop the Joan and Irwin Jacobs School of Engineering at the University of California, San Diego. It is one of 18 pieces in the private Stuart Art Collection, whose pieces all lie on the UCSD campus. Fallen Star was installed in 2012 and is open for public viewing on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1100-1400. Hiking the trails at Torrey Pines #hiking If you have to study, do it in style. Sunset run The hike to Three Sisters Waterfalls was at times so steep they had to install ropes to help you transverse it. #takeahike #threesisterswaterfall #hiking #california Driving South on the old coast hwy 101 I stopped and parked my car to capture this awesome sight for the first day of Spring in San Diego. #roadtrip Beach walk The Grand Del Mar nice viewpoint UCSD has outdone themselves with their library! Gorgeous views at the Inn At Torrey Pines- fabulous golf course Nice sunset Sunset and palm trees Beach view California sunsets never get old Great Hotel with beautiful grounds, multiple pools, tennis courts, golf course (which we played; beautiful) and spectacular high-end service. We really enjoyed our stay here, just outside of San Diego. Peaceful place!
