This is an older hotel, with some signs of age, but it is elegant and very comfortable. The staff was kind and helpful and we loved being walking distance to everything in downtown La Jolla. The restaurant (which also does room service!) is delicious.

The location is right in the middle of everything. Arriving to the room everything you need is there.

Excellent location, attractive building, good rooms. EZ check in.
San Diego is turning into a dump. Roads into property are worse than Mexico

La Jolla just completed repaving and restriping all of the streets here in the Village. I understand it was an inconvenience for those traveling during the project. I like the story of the hotel. I think that should be a focus. 100 years old! That should be the lead. Amazing!

For the price, it is well worth the ameneties and experience you get from the hotel. This place was immaculate.
