Upon entering our bedroom there was literally blood residue on my bed’s pillow case. I took pictures, I can send you a copy if you’d like. It’s pretty gross and I was fairly disgusted. I’m sure this violates a health code of some type :(

For the price, this was a terrible choice. Lesson learned. 1 elevator working out of 3, elevator buttons taped up, construction ongoing in the lobby and rooms, loud and dirty in areas. Stay a little further away from the park for a better stay experience.

There's a crossing signal behind the hotel and it constantly was sounding off. Registration driveway is small. When I checked in, they asked me if I was a Hilton Rewards member so I wouldn't pay the daily parking fee. I provided my info, and I was still charged the $40. I called back to dispute and spoke with a Miguel. He said that everyone must pay the parking fee and offered no correction other than "sorry". Well I won't be going back to this sorry a$$ hotel.

This hotel is in a great area of San Diego. It’s Andy a couple of streets away from little Italy and a block away from the waterfront. The hotel is undergoing renovations, but it doesn’t really get in the way. The staff are friendly and the room was clean.

Room was nice and fairly spacious. Staff was friendly for the most part. Biggest drawback is that the hotel is next to a train station and loud, noisy trains kept passing by every few minutes starting at 3:30 AM, keeping us up. Other than that, great location near waterfront park and restaurants within walking distance.

Bad counter service. Requested a room change because guest above our room was making too much noise. The counter clerk gave me a different room that was next to the metro station. I did not sleep at all. The hotel only had one waffle maker. During breakfast I had to wait in line for a long time to make my waffle.

Although the property was convenient it was very unorganized. It was loud at night. Didn’t get sleep at all. The walls were paper then and you heard everything and everyone! Call front desk and complained about the noise he told me that it was going to be awhile before they could even check on it. Called back and no one never checked. Also there were bus flying around the lobby and in the temp breakfast area. Had major construction going on. Will no be booking here again.

Good, Convenient stay. Amenities in room were excellent. Smart idea to make large bottles of hygiene needs available in bathrooms I.e. shampoo, lotion, body wash, etc. Breakfast was boring and limited, No bathroom available in the lobby area. High vehicle traffic noise at night, and outside noise constant due to people hanging out. Clean facility, spacious King Room. Desk Agent Alex was Phenomenal as she responded with respect, courtesy, diligence and professionally to any question or concern we had or to any other guest situation I observed.

Parking is onsite, breakfast is included and it’s walking distance to lots of restaurants and sights to see. We have a little one and there’s a nice park across the street that she really enjoyed playing at. The bay is just 2 blocks away, little Italy and downtown area are walking distance. The hotel is nice and clean.

The staff and the cleanliness of this hotel is what gives it 5 stars. However, during our stay there was remodeling with only 2 working elevators and no stairs access from lobby. It took quite some time to just get out of the hotel waiting for the elevators. Bums were hanging outside by the exterior stairs access so we were limited on safe/efficient ways to get to our room. We could hear plumbing from our neighbors whenever they turned the water on. The hotel has potential with the great staff, clean rooms so hopefully when the remodel is done it will be less frustrating coming and going from the room.
