The first night our room smelled very bad. Like an animal had and accident, someone cleaned the carpet and it hadn't dried. I should have complained but I though I could get used to it. Mentioned it at the desk and was given a new room which was much better. However, in the new room the bathtub faucet continued to run. I was able to tighten to get it stopped but after housekeeping it was running again and I couldn't get it to stop. Front desk was excellent but I shouldn't have had these two problems.

PROs Nice property. Nice rooms. Next to a market which has many dining options, as well as convenience store, which is very convenient to have. CONs Room air conditioning was slightly more noisier than expected. Also, the walls are not that sound proof, which means even people flushing their toilets in the adjacent room can be heard. IMPROVEMENT TO THE "TOUCH": Small note to management: having a bottle of water and perhaps some other welcome kit available in the room right after check-in will be a golden touch to make the experience even better. Typically guests travel a lot to reach their hotel room. By the time they reach their room, they are tired. Upon arrival, a complimentary bottle of water would be nice to have, instead of having to venture out again to get some water.

Perfect overnight stay in San D. Beautiful, easy to find property right off of the freeway. Customer service was superb. Josie was incredible at check-in upon arrival. Josie was knowledgeable and accommodating. Parking was easy. Room was clean. Towels and comforters very clean and bright white! That’s something I always look for. Manuel and Tino were very friendly and hospitable during breakfast. Food was good!

They need to communicate to the customer the cost of parking, because it is not free, they never told us how much it cost per day.

Absolutely beautiful hotel! Our room was clean and comfortable beds. My only complaint is we were woken up to the trash man picking up the trash bin and that wasn't a big deal but for almost an hour he was training someone picking up the bin, putting it down. I could hear everything! Really noisy

Good property location for our purposes of visiting family. It is about 30 minutes from downtown activities and events, but not a difficult travel. We were unhappy with our room initially, but the staff were great and placed us in a room that completely met our needs. There is a great bar/bartender in the lounge, and their dinner and breakfast offerings are excellent. It makes the stay very conenient and enjoyable.

Everything was great, except the room was dusty and the blanket was stained. I wiped everything down with cleaning wipes and tookthe blanket off. For future purposes, If you know your going to check someone into a room that hasn't been used for a while, then make sure it's wiped clean and everything is tidy.

No hot water
I could not even stay and use my room. There was no hot water. I let it run for 20 minutes and it would not get hot. I checked in at 3pm so that I could shower and be in Temecula for a business meeting at 6pm. I could not shower nor could I wait for someone to fix the issue. I left and did not stay in my room.

Disappointing
We waited 90 minutes on Friday 12/22/23 to get our room. Which turned out to be the wrong room. Note, the website said check in was 3:00 PM, we arrived a few minutes after 3:00 PM. The wrong room wasn’t ready until 4:33 PM. We went to the room. It was not the deluxe suite that we had reserved. We called the desk and were then told our suite would not be ready until 6:30 PM. Then we asked for a manager. The manager, Trey, then said that the suite is ready, but the carpet might be damp. He brought the key to the room we had been given. He said he inspected the room and the carpet was dry. We moved. In the mean time, we were told that they were crediting our account 1/2 the room rate for Friday, we were given a “no charge” parking permit and we were informed that the room would be serviced every day. The next morning we found that there was only one coffee cup and no decaf coffee for the coffee machine in the room. When we went out on Saturday we asked the front desk to ask the maid to leave two coffee cups and some decaf coffee. Saturday, the room was not serviced, no decaf, no coffee cups no towels. We had to get towels. Sunday, room was serviced. However, they did not leave any bath towels. Since the towels go on a rack above the back of the bathtub we didn’t notice until my wife showered. We called and the front desk brought some towels to the door. Monday the room was serviced. Tuesday we checked out, got a receipt, had to get parking charges removed
