The hotel was very close to all the shops and places to eat. We went on the Hop on Hop off bus which was extremely informative for us being tourists from overseas. Everyone was very friendly and I would recommend Old Town to anyone visiting San Diego.
Convenient and close by to gas lamp district and even Petco park. Room was comfortable and spacious. As with most hotels in the area, you have to pay for overnight parking which is a bit pricey.
Valet was good, service was good, hotel was very clean. The single room was small, but that's understandable considering the hotel is a hundred years old. The rooftop deck and view were quite nice. Great view of the city.
Very quit, Pet friendly, The room felt a little stuffy but was nice and clean. The bed was not very comfortable for me personally. The hotel is about 7-10 min walk to shops and fabulous restaurants. The hotel staff was friendly.
This is a really nice hotel. It's a little dated but in a good way, it was an old world charm. The staff is super nice and friendly and helpful. It's well priced and the location is convenient if but its on the outskirts of the Gaslamp so there isn't much in the surrounding couple blocks.
The hotel is near the highway so we were able to hop on and zip to all of our functions within minutes.
Hotel was within walking distance of Little Italy, The Gaslamp District, waterfront, and water taxi to Coronado Island. Staff, breakfast, and fellow guests were wonderful.
Enjoyed being within walking distance from old downtown and the many restaurants. I was disappointed that they charge an additional $20 to park on site, however if you have a truck (as I do) then the clearance to the underground parking is only 6 feet so you must park on the street if you can find ...
We celebrated our 15 year anniversary here. It was truly amazing. We never had to leave our hotel. All the shopping and restraunts were available on site at the hotel. Spa, pools, activities! I recommend this Hotel to anyone looking for a nice $$$ get away.
Great stay. Just 1 recommendation for other travellers. Check where you room will be located! I asked for a quiet room. It was quiet on weekdays. However, on the weekends, my room was located just above the basement reception room. The disco music boom boom was so load that MY FLOOR WAS SHAKING & ...
i booked this hotel because of it's close proximity to Valley View Sports Arena. There are lots of restaurants and shops in walking distance. The hotel is undergoing renovation. My room and bed were spacious. The room was very clean, included a mini-fridge. I would stay here again
