Party room..Not a hotel !

Pros: Room was clean
Cons: Respond to complaints.
Location: Parking was minimal, and tight. Had to drive, to get to any activity.
Had to call front desk 6 times in one night about the loud music from rooms next door and above me. Music started at 8:00 PM and went til 1:00 AM. (Loud bass thumping noise) Their security said he didn't hear it. Manager finally came to investigate, as music could clearly be heard in parking lot. He knocked on their door and told them to turn it down. That lasted about 4 minutes, then came back on even Louder. Another front desk call. This time they refused to answer door. Manager tried calling them..no answer. I got out of bed, went to front desk and asked for my money back, to check out. Was told NO, as I had prepaid for 2 nights. When I got back to my room, found out my door lock was broken. My key wouldn't work, hotel security's key wouldn't work. So I stood outside, listening to more RAP music, while they tried to repair the lock, for half an hour. Music continued on, at party levels, for 4 more hours, stopping about 1:00 AM. Next night, music started from same room, about 6:00 PM. I called front desk. They came to room next door, guide by music, and told them to keep it down. Front desk called me and said they told them to keep it at an acceptable level . Continued on. If you want a Hip-HOP Rap festival in your room while you are trying to sleep...THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU !

For a remodel it leaves much to be desired

The king suite smelled like gym locker. The tile floors looked nice but were covered in a sticky dust. There was a hole in the ceiling above the shower that looked like water damage from the room above. The drain in the middle of the bathroom floor was an accident waiting to happen, it wasn't sealed and could be tripped on easily. I couldn't tell if the "distressed" cabinets in the bathrooms were on purpose since the hotel boasted Modern updates. The mattress was horrible, the sheets smelled like smoke even though it was supposed to be non smoking. My wife and I had 1 day away from the kids and we wanted a cozy modern get away to be lazy for a day. We ended up in a cold uncomfortable dirty room.

Great place, wonderful location, convenient. Staff was absolutely amazing, the most polite and friendly people we ever met! The rooms were spotless, renovated and very comfy! Highly recommended! For sure we will be back

Pros: Did not like anything about this hotel
Cons: When someone calls to complain about another room follow up on it at least call back to see if everything is ok
Had horrible experience next room to mine had tv blasted all night called front desk nothing happened no one came to do anything about it. Then at 6 in the morning guy was on the phone so loud I couldn't sleep basically I didn't sleep at all during my stay. When I told the stuff about my bad experience I was promised that either I will get email or phone call from manager NOTHING no phone call or email. Oh and I was told that the manager was out of the felicity but his car was parked at Manager Parking that was a lay.

Good afternoon Qudsia, First I want to greatly apologize that you were told that you would get a call back any never did. I urge my front desk staff to tell guests to call me back when I am in the office. Many times when a call back is promised, communication fails and then the guest is left wondering what happened. This is the first I am hearing about this incident and that should not have been the case. I also would like to assure you that none of the managers take the manager parking space. We normally leave the space open for incoming guests because it is close to the front office for check ins. I would personally like to talk to you about your stay but I would need contact information from you. Please call the front desk again and I will try to get in touch with you as soon as possible.

Horrible beds

The jacuzzi was old and had bugs and the bed was hard as the floor. The room and bathroom were huge tho! I made it work.

Very close to activities such as gaslamp and mission beach. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful. Only negative was the bed sheets had a couple of stains on it when arrived.

The area was creepy at night. Next to River. Low lighting since it was at the end if the street. Room was clean but basic. Paid 185 for last minute booking. Front desk guy was very nice in the am. The outside hallway was dark too.
