OLD AND DIRTY. NO SMOKING ON PROPERTY. STAFF WAS KIND RUDE AND CALLED US LATER TO SEE IF WE WOULD CHECK OUT---THAT IS AFTER WE HAD CHECKED OUT A 4:30 AM TO CATCH A FLIGHT.

Very good hotel

The staff are very gentle, and the room is very clan and comfortable, is near a mal for shopping

The furniture was dirty. There were bugs in the room. I had to put down a $100.00 security deposit. The part of town it was in was not the best. The hotel was old and run down.

NOT A GREAT STAY THIS TIME.

When arrived I was pleased to see the clerk was a young Asian male, because in one of the reviews someone had mentioned him positively, so I had great expectations right of the bat and yes, he was polite and easy going but he gave me a bad room!!!! It was right by the stairs where people go up and down with luggage (but it wasnt too bad), the tv though would go completely dark every few minutes, the water in shower had little to no pressure and the last day it rained and got a leak in the roof of the bathroom! I wont give the room number cause I trust that they will fix these things and I didnt enjoy it this time but in general I would still go back and would still recommend the hotel since the rooms are mostly comfortable.

Good for the price

The room was small but clean. Not a bad neighborhood, but not great either. Only a 10 to 15 minute drive to everywhere we wanted to go in San Diego. The breakfast is nothing great - coffee, juice, cold cereal and some muffins. Staff was very friendly.

needs improvements

the key to the first room didn't work we were move from downstairs to upstairs the second room was slight clean w/several bugs spiders and mosquitoes with hair in the bathtub

Perfect hotel for San Diego

Friendly staff, welcoming, fast checkin for a good price room ! The room was huge, clean and very comfortable.Car is required to go to San Diego though.

Pros: The location was great! Nice size rooms. I would stay there again.
Cons: I would stay there again; however, I would check the carpet before moving in. The carpet in my room as you walk in and for half way, was VERY dirty.
Location: Location was great. Post Office very close, CVS across the street. There were many restaurants within walking distance.
For me, the location was excellent. The rooms are large and all the amenities one could want. Beds were good, the pillows could be some fluffier, but they are generous with the quantity of pillows. The Continental breakfast was very good and not lacking.
