Wait Until after the Renovation

Pros: The location.
Cons: Needs a major update.
Location: LaJolla Cove....enough said.
It is clear they are getting ready for a major renovation. The beds are old and the facilities are a bit run down. You get what you pay for. The location is amazing, so that should have been the clue as to why it was such a good deal. We didn't spend much time in the room, so it didn't ruin the trip. Over all it was a pleasant experience.

This place is a dump

Everything is super old and feels dirty. Room number 8 bathroom was remodeled and the bed had clean linens but the carpet is old and stained, drapes torn and falling off the rails, phone and TV were like props because they didn't work. The phone didn't even have a cord. I could go one but I won't, just stay away from this place.

Got an amazing deal on an enormous room in this cute little hotel, right next to the beach walking distance to all the bars and restaurants. Thankful

Old and poorly maintained. Room was small and bathroom extra small. Location was great.

Train the staff!!!

Great location great price for the hotel room but the staff is completely lost about everything asked of them. They don't know direction they don't understand English and they aren't very pleasant! Other than that book away.

Great location!

We enjoyed our two night stay here, because of the location and the price was reasonable. We did have to park two blocks away, but after that, we just walked everywhere and didn't need it! A little warning though: the room was so small, only one person could pass at a time between the bed and the hutch. Oh also, the carpet was dirty.

Room #7 where i stayed has broken AC unit

Hotel management has put a message for gusts stating that the AC Unit does work but it actually doesn't.

Great value for a view

Cozy room, balcony to watch people and look at the ocean. Older place with squeaky floors but we slept ok and could even hear the waves crashing. Parking was not convenient, I should have moved the car closer. It has a small market attached and is close to everything

Might as well stay in a tent.

Close to the beach. Either remodel fast or tear the place down. Not for families who value their health. Gas leak gave us headaches and zero piece of mind.
