We've been coming here for the past 8 years and have never had a negative thing to say about this place. Everything is always exceptional from staff to the outdoors of this place but this time it was different. We ALWAYS have breakfast at their buffet and enjoy their omelette station. This weekend the lady "Shawna" that was working the station was VERY rude, not only to my family (first timers at the hotel) but to everyone who came to ask for an omelet. She seemed like she was irritated and bothered that she had a line of people asking for omelettes. 2 of my family members ended up leaving the line because she was making rude comments to the rest of us. I was pretty disappointed because it was my parents first time and she made it an uncomfortable experience. The waiter on the other hand was so nice as they have always been for the past 8 years. To be quite honest it was such a dissapointment to my family that the tab was $100 and they only ate the buffet because of the cook. Not sure if I'll be dining in if she's ever the cook there anymore.

When we checked in they said they overbooked the hotel and all four of our KING bed rooms were now 2 Doubles. I was furious that I spent all that money for doubles instead of kings. The staff was dismissive and rude and I had to argue with them for them to even consider compensation. In which they only provided a free breakfast. Disappointing from such a higher class hotel

The room seemed dated but the rest of the facilities, staff and surrounding area made up for what was lacking in the room. The entrance is grand and the restaurant on the first floor served delicious meals and snacks that worked nicely when it was too late to dine out. We loved the location, especially the shopping and the coffee in the nearby marina area. We will definitely be returning to this area in San Diego and booking this hotel again.

A very nice hotel with great amenities. Not the most exciting or walkable location but it isn't too bad. Would definitely go back with all of that in mind, just was hoping to be able to walk more places!

The room was fine for the night but there is a stuffy/vaguely smoky smell in the room. When the AC runs it causes a buzzing hum due to vibrations rattling a part of the window. Location is great - came for a Padres game. Hotel entrance/lobby is impressive.

The facilities of the four-star hotel are very old, the room has the smell of the last guest after taking a bath, and the ventilation is not very good. There are coffee stains on the new LIDS, which no one should have noticed for a long time and then cleaned and replaced, the dust on the nightstand, the dust on the sofa, and the sink is cracked. The sea view room I booked is smaller than the picture, and the kingsize bed is smaller than the kingsize bed at home. I thought the scenery near the dock was good, but there would be the sound of the train and the roar of the ship, so there would be no environment to go to bed early, and it was good to go to the beach for running in the morning. The facilities are old anyway. I want to self park, but the second floor is in the clean ground, can not pass, I choose valet parking65 yuan, self parking50whole night. whatever, pass a night. Thank you for front desk people are nice.But I won't be booking this one again.
