3 bedroom and 2 bath with full kitchen, living room (with new sofa bed) and park-like yard. Newly added 3rd bedroom suite with bath and private living and kitchenette.

The Beach Cottage has just been updated with brand new subway tile walk-in shower, restored hardwood floors, alder doors, period lighting and ceiling fans in the bedrooms (Central A/C too). Beautifully decorated and very clean inside and out. This coastal home is open and bright. The bedrooms have new memory foam mattresses and new queen and king beds. Fully fenced park-like yard.

We are located In the north end of Carlsbad Village. We are in the walking district with easy walk to beach, restaurants and shopping. We also have a 1 bedroom 500 sf Cottage on-site as VRBO #361784, The Hideaway. Booked separately and both have their own private yards.

No common walls. No interior space shared. Al Fresco side yard with BBQ and fully fenced front yard for Coastal Cottage exclusively. Dedicated parking in driveway for 2 vehicles.

*  4 healthy walking blocks to beach. We have beach gear and a wagon. Also bikes.
Close to all major attractions. Lego Land – 5 mins, Sea World – 25 mins, SD Zoo – 30 mins, Wild Animal Park - 45 mins, Coaster (Train) 2 blocks away can whisk you Down Town San Diego 35 mins.

Very pleasant stay at this charming cottage in a quiet neighborhood and within very comfortable walking distance to all Carlsbad has to offer. Host will go out of her way to ensure your comfort and convenience. There are 3 full size bedrooms; however, one is a walkthru, which was fine for our family, but might not work as well for singles or couples. Lots of very pleasant outdoor space as well.

The Perfect Beach Getaway
This property was definitely one of my favorites and we have rented "beach properties" for many years. The home was clean, the yard was gorgeous, the parking was great and the host was helpful. Carlsbad is awesome... we enjoyed the short walking distance to restaurants, shopping and the beach. We will be back.

A Great Getaway!
We rented the cottage for a month. Our daughter, son-in-law and their almost 2 year old joined us for 10 days. There was plenty of room for all of us and our dog (who loved the front yard). The cottage was clean, well stocked and the beds are comfy; one of the best features is that it is easily walkable to the shops and restaurants in Carlsbad Village which we did several times a day. The hosts, Deanna and Craig are awesome. They were very responsive to all of our questions and had many great suggestions; we cannot say enough good things about them. We would return in a heartbeat.

Delightful Coastal Cottage
We enjoyed a relaxing 2 weeks at the lovely cottage. It’s in a great location, easy walk to the village, a small park nearby and the closest beach is just great. The house was very well equipped, decorated in a comfortable beach style and the gardens are beautiful. Deanna quickly responded to any questions. We were very pleased!
