If you are looking for a nice clean room quiet and with amenities then this is the place, not the Sheraton or any higher class Hotel. I mean really it's to sleep and shower!! And the best for your dollar. Will stay again, very pleased !

Hotel Room Broken Into

Yep, my hotel room at this Super 8 was broken into by someone while I was away. I ended up staying with friends at their place that first night, so I was not in the room. I had simply checked-in the day prior, went to visit my friends who convinced me to stay at their place that night. When I arrived at the hotel room the next day I noticed that the room had been broken into. It appeared as though they came in through the window since the window was open and there was some kind of breaking device on the floor beneath the windows. Luckily I did not have any belongings in the room. It looked like they laid on top of the bed and watched some television as the covers were not on the bed good and the remote control was located on top of the bed. They also used the shower. I reported the issue to the front desk and they simply offered to clean the room. I did not feel safe here anymore so I just immediately checked-out and they said that they would refund me the two nights that I did not stay. I have yet to receive that refund and it has been a week.

Great location in and out to shopping.

Breakfast was included very good. Remodeled rooms. Plenty of free parking. Uber $9 to downtown 3 minute drive to old town 30 minute drive to Sycuan casino, Pretty cool place for the money.

Good place to stay if price is reasonable. Room small but cozy. If you're looking for a room to sleep in, due to being out sightseeing all day, this should do.

Cheap & Convenient

Pros: The design of the furnishings made the room very efficient for its size. Open storage was convenient to use. Solid flooring a brilliant idea.
Cons: Management needs to enforce non smoking policy. Worn out mattress needs to be replaced.
Location: Hotel Circle allows easy freeway access. The San Diego Zoo and Torrey Pines State Park were highlights of our visit.
Solid flooring instead of carpet is the best idea ever. Our queen bed was uncomfortably worn out to the point of pokey springs. I was ok with the stay due to the exceptionally low price. The registration process included informing us that it is a non smoking facility and smoking is prohibited in walkways, halls, and stairways. There were guests smoking in rooms with the door propped open. Fortunately, our room had no odor of smoke.

I enjoyed my stay

We got lost a couple of times not being familiar with the area and the staff was great on giving us directions to get back thank you the beds were very comfortable

Highly disappointing.

Pros: Nothing!
Cons: Everything.
Location: Hotel circle, everything was overpriced, and everything worth enjoying was nowhere in the area.
One chair for two persons, and it was a small, hard material, uncomfortable, and unstable. A queen sized bed was advertised but turned out to be a double bed. The room was so small that two of us could not move around at the same time. There was not sufficient room for our belongings, and we traveled light. There was absolutely nothing to recommend this hotel. At one hundred dollars plus per night it was the next thing to robbery. Don't even bother to think about staying there if you don't want to be very disappointed. The trip was for our anniversary, We loved being together but we hated the place we had to spend our anniversary. You will not be happy if you choose them.

Quiet place

Location: Balboa park and down town are near Take the trolley to Mexico
Nice right in hotel circle short drive to everything nearby bars and restaurants

Don't book this hotel!!!

Pros: Centrally located (but so are dozens of other choices listed in Hotel Circle San Diego).
I truly feel I am saving another person or family from a poor experience by not choosing this hotel. I booked this hotel through Expedia at a fair rate for a 3 night stay. I won't even talk about the fact that at least 50% of the staff I came into contact with were rude. Instead I will just list the problems in my hotel room. 1. 1/2 of the electric outlets were not working 2. Microwave not working 3. Bathtub wouldn't hold water 4. Ironing board broken 5. Someone modified artwork in the room with a sharpie making it VERY INNAPROPRIATE and vulgar. 6. Key card had to be fixed multiple times in 3 days 7. Every ice machine in the hotel did not work. Not just our floor...All the ice machines. Worse is that under all of those circumstances they refused to move us and any sort of refund (even a small amount) for the inconveniences.

Cons: Clean up outside (parking lot, etc), make sure everything in the room works (microwave, outlets, and ironing board were all not working) and more.
Location: To many to list. In hotel circle San Diego. San Diego Zoo, Downtown San Diego, Gaslamp, Padres, Beaches, shopping..........
