If you are ever lucky enough to do the #California pacific coast highway #roadtrip then I highly recommend you take a detour to sunset cliffs in #sandiego to catch the sunset Cruising through the Art Market in Historic Old Town San Diego. Late fall and winter are the optimum times for a visit to the tidepools at Cabrillo National Monument: unlike the summer months, when low tides occur in the middle of the night, the good low tides - including the outstanding negative low tides - in fall and winter occur during daylight hours when the park is open.
Tidepool beach The best time to visit is late fall or winter when low tides are during the day, making it possible to hike along the cliffs. The tidepools are located within the Cabrillo National Monument area so there's a $5 parking fee or you can park outside and hike down. #beach Departing flights out of San Diego International take off towards the Pacific. Grab a window seat on the right for this incredible birds-eye view of Mission Bay, Pacific Beach and Mission Beach with Soledad Mountain and La Jolla in the distance.
#lifeatexpedia San Diego is full of great places to see and Shelter Island is one of them. While on the way to Jimmy's Famous American Tavern Restaurant I decided to venture off to catch the sunset. This area is full of great restaurants and sights to see. From Shelter Island is one of my favorite viewpoints of Downtown San Diego. I highly recommend this place for not only great food but the amazing views! One of the loveliest sunsets I've seen here at Ocean Beach! We literally parked and ran to catch the sun slipping beneath the line of the horizon. One of the natural arches at Sunset Cliffs, San Diego (close to Ocean Beach). The staircase into the Pacific. Nothing says perfect socal lunch like a double double! Ready to push! Take the leash off and let your dog roam free! Walking along sunset Cliffs, watching the surfers!
#BeachBound Tidepool area This was taken at low tide in Sunset Cliffs Park in Ocean Beach, San Diego. There's a small semi-private beach at the south end that you can hike/climb down to with the assistance of a rope, and we spent the afternoon here with the dog, relaxing and enjoying the fabulous SoCal weather!! Beach soccer with the boys Patrick Star!!! Sunset from Ocean Beach pier #colorful View from San Diego downtown Beautiful even without the sunset. These brioche cinnamon rolls are some of the best I've ever had - and I've had a lot of cinnamon rolls. Light and tasty dough combined with delicious frosting and just the right amount of cinnamon. They didn't look like they'd be as good as they are.
Pastry Queen's rating: 9.5 out of 10. You won't get much better than these, folks.

Come a little before sunset coz people come from all over to see the sunset! and it's packed! This shot was taken just after sunset. I love the shape of the cliffs and the blues in the rocks. All the Palm trees just top it off. Enjoy
#BeachBound I sampled this chicken b-b-q and it was heaven!
#FoodieFinds Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego, CA. Located on acres, with ocean on either side, this is the national resting place for our Naval heros. Quite a humbling experience
Nice belly... A cemetery with a view. Fun boat ride. My first time in San Diego and I was lucky enough to have this view from my hotel window. The water was so clear that it looked like a mirror. #Blue #SanDiego This place has all sorts of treats, Healthy and also not so healthy lol... Coffee and hot stuff. This little treat is a Passion fruit tart. No matter what you get, because I've tried a lot of them, healthy or not... they're very tasty!

He sat there and posed for quite some time. I never realized but these birds are a lot bigger than they appear. Beautiful. #BeachBound Morning walk at the park The pier invites you to explore the ocean from below as well as from the views on top. But, this view f from below is hypnotic and peaceful.
