Hosting international celebrities, politicians, and even royalty, it's a lot of fun to just walk around and gawk at the grandeur of this site. Of course what comes to mind for me is This statue in San Diego is based on an iconic photo of a sailor kissing a girl at Times Square, New York and later published in Life magazine The image commemorates V-J Day on August 14, 1945. We heard the cinnamon rolls here were good, so we grabbed some for breakfast to go. Although it was great, being one of the most expensive rolls on our list ($8) did not bring it to the top. The dough was decent and the crunchy cinnamon sugar was awesome, but the frosting on top was a bit too cream-cheesy for me personally.
