SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!

Pros: LOCATION
Cons: CLEANLINESS, APPEARANCE, PARKING, HOTEL LOBBY STAFF (INCREASE NUMBERS) , AIR CONDITIONING WAS OLD, NEED SECURITY PRESENCE
Do not stay at hotel. The location is great, it appears to be a newer place, but I was not happy with my experience. CHECK IN When I arrived at approximately 5:45pm for check in, there was a line of 4-5 of us. They only had one person working front desk. This person was handling calls from rooms and checking us in. She was very busy. The biggest issue was the room assigment. Apparently the computers were acting up and causing a delay for all guests checking in. ROOM I finally got my room assignment after some 30+ minutes, then I get to the room, Room 310 and the bed wasn't made. I called down to front desk and they said I had to come back to the front desk for another assignment. (also, the elevators were not working as this "newer" hotel). And the A/c didn't seem to work at the front desk lobby. All red flags. So they assign me new room, and I get settled in. Room had some issues with shower. Paint beginning to bubble and appears there was water damage in bathroom ceiling around vent. I am not changing rooms at this point, because I need to go to dinner reservation and dont' have time. PARKING When I get back from dinner (after) midnight, there is no parking. I have to drive a few loops around parking lot. The rear of the facility is full of contruction and heavy equipment trucks taking up a big chunk of parking. CHECK OUT - check out line was busy, but the ONE front desk guy handed me a receipt quickly once he starting seeing the line build at 11am. There were abo

Best Western

we went to celebrate our anniversary and a brother's wedding. The hotel had no hot water upon arrival. We needed to get ready for the rehearsal dinner and we're told it would be at least two hours before they had someone come fix it. We had 40 minutes. When we requested a refund so we could go elsewhere, we only got 35% back because of our booking through Expedia. We need Expedia to refund the rest. This was not our fault or responsibility and I would hope to be contacted ASAP

Run down and smelly

The room was terribly smelly, overwhelmingly, with smoke stench. The heating/air system was old and tough to manage temp.

Close to Mexico

First impression while driving up was great. I arrived an hour earlier than check-in and our room was ready. Amazing customer service. Our rooms were great. Our room was very clean and very spacious. Very very quite hotel. Hotel is located like 5 minutes away from Mexico border..it's only a hop, skip and a jump away. Breakfast was super. .had waffles, eggs, sausage, chillaquilles, beans, yogurt, cereal, coffee,bagels,muffins. Check in and check out was a breeze.

Location: no comments
The night staff does not know how to multitask they constantly have a line of people waiting . they blame the computer system . however I notice they are able to handle the work load and are easily overwhelm. the owner needs to fix this

We do realize that sometimes the check-in process can be slow but i assure you that our staff does everything they can to make sure that you get a great experience. TV didn't maintain signal so had no tv for most of stay but other than that it was great.
