Clean hotel in a good location

Posted Mar 26, 2017
Honestly this hotel was not the nicest place I've ever stayed, but I think it served its purpose well. The hotel was clean, quiet and was located right in the middle of town close to everything. I would definitely stay here again.

Very close to all attractions

Posted Mar 26, 2017
Loved that it was close to beaches, both zoos, Gaslamp Quarter, downtown, airport, fashion mall and more. Bus stop right on the corner. Hotel itself was pretty standard-small, but clean. Beds were crazy comfortable. Everything including pool, hot tub and guest laundry was very clean. Heard they are doing updating. We had no disturbances. There was some construction type repairs, but they waited until after 9am to start. Food at the cafe a little pricey but good. They do offer a discount for lunch and dinner. You can purchase tickets to a couple of attractions at regular price. Front desk is open 24 hours. The grounds are landscaped very nicely. Would definitely stay again as the price was amazing.

Such a great deal

Location: We went too old town, easy access to the freeway for lego land, San Diego sea world, close to the zoo and beaches.
The staff was excellent the room was small but clean, facilities are nice. Good location easy on and around all of San Diego. Will stay again, can't beat the price for the nice staff well cleaned rooms.

Hotel on a budget.

Posted Mar 23, 2017
If your on a budget this hotel will do. Pros: buget friendly, parking included, room clean, grounds kept nicely, close to resturants, and highway excessable. Cons: Needs some updateing, bed not too comfortable, a stale smell that lingered throughout the room, and shower water takes ten minutes to heat up due to old pipes. Overall, average hotel. However, I won't be staying again.

Great value and location

Posted Mar 20, 2017
The rooms were clean and the hotel was located very close to many attractions like Seaport Village, Old Town, ths Zoo and Gaslamp District. The beds needed a comforter and were a little uncomfortable but nothing horrible. Rooms are small. Also know they wont have your refrigerator on when they know your checking in ( not good) so you will have to wait for it to get cold before putting items in it.

Beautiful Grounds and Rooms

Posted Mar 18, 2017
Pros: The beauty.
Cons: There was a rolling chair in my room and the fake leather was peeling off.
Location: It's a short walk the Town & Country resort. Also, a short walk beyond is the Fashion something mall. There is a shopping area five min drive away.
When I drove up to the hotel, it looked a little older, so I wasn't expecting too much. Imagine my surprise as I made my way to my room. I followed a winding path through beautifully groomed landscaping. Mature palm trees shaded the walkway, flowers brightened the way. I passed an inviting swimming pool and a cozy hot tub tucked under shade trees. As I ascended the steps--the concrete appeared slightly older--leading to my room, again I was underprepared for the comfort inside. The room was beautifully furnished. One whole wall was a mirror. The bed was tightly made with a decorative sash across the foot. Two large comfortable chairs cozied up to a work table. There were plenty of outlets for my devices. A clock, TV, and tiny fridge all met my needs. The shower worked well--the water pressure not too forceful, nor too wimpy. The artwork on the wall added color, but wasn't exactly my taste. I ate one meal at the restaurant. It was OK. Wasn't bad, wasn't great. The staff were helpful, but not standout. Overall, I loved the hotel because of the beautiful grounds and my beautiful room. I felt like I got a comfortable room for a reasonable price.
