Stayed theee with a large group of family for my son's military graduation. Couldn't have been better. The staff was great and helpful and despite the construction going on down the street we had a great stay.

Pros: above
Cons: Choices for meals, something actually cooked not just heated up. The Hilton always has a nice restaurant which I use their room service.
Location: catch all the shuttles for trips around the city nearby.
courtyard side, nice view of palm trees. Window opened which I loved!

Pros: Nice rooms, close to Old Town
Cons: Better restaurant facility
Location: Great Location to Old Town
I arrived at 2:00 am with my 81 year old mother. There was a problem with our room and they sent us to another hotel for the first night all the way back by the airport . The room at that hotel was old and moldy smelling. I did not receive any text message or notice of the change. I felt they could have put us up in a nicer hotel that was much closer to Old Town.

The hotel was nice, but the rooms are small. The wifi doesn't work very well and there isn't any free parking or complimentary breakfast.

Pros: The rooms were clean and comfortable.
Cons: If you're a guest, you shouldn't have to pay for parking. Seriously, this shouldn't even be open for discussion.
Location: Old Town with many good restaurants is within blocks of the hotel. It is also very close to downtown, the airport, and the freeways.
Came in a driving rain. All courtyard parking was full, so had to park in the garage. Desk clerk said it would be $20.00 for parking in the garage. Turns out it was $20.00 a day, not just a one time fee. We will go anywhere else but here when we go to San Diego again.

The front desk staff was less than friendly when I had to call in to confirm the reservation on two occasions. The hotel/room had a musty odor and the room was noisy. We will not book here again. The location is ok - very close to the freeway, including the airport, downtown and sea world. It's a short 5 minute walk to central Old Town.
