This was our second stay at this Courtyard Marriott. The staff were all very friendly and professional, and had answers to our questions about local dining and attractions. The grounds were very clean and well maintained. Our room was very nice and spacious. We will definitely stay here again when we come to visit Old Town!

I liked how close to Old Town it was. I did not like how even though check out time is noon, we already had housekeeping knock and then try to enter our room before we could even get to the door and it was barely after 9:00 a.m. Then we even put the do not disturb sign on the door but they were still back and knocking about 30 minutes later.

Food options are poor! Had to walk several blocks for dinner. Prices are steep for what is available .,hotel otherwise is very good. Service is fine and friendly .

Why did the housekeeping wake me up at 8 AM? I had driven all night from San Francisco and had just gotten a few hours sleep! That and the heater smelt like warm moldy stagnant water. Never again here.

Bathroom was not properly cleaned before arriving. However, we were only there for one night so I didn’t make it a big deal. Staff was nice and the area was quiet for the most part.

Great place for a standard room. Some of the lights didn’t work and the mirror in the hallway didn’t work neither. Stayed with my mom and daughter for a quick one night trip and loved that it was walking distance to Old Town San Diego! Great location and surprisingly quite even being next to the freeway!

I love that it’s near Old Town (walkable distance) and got to eat delicious food. Property should check in with their AC units to make sure it doesn’t smell. Follow up with housekeeping when you make a request, and they haven’t shown up yet.

We love the property. The beds and pillows are great. The rooms are big. I did not like that I was charged $130 more by going through Expedia then my friend across the hall with the same room because she went through the Marriott website. I'd like that refunded please.
