We liked it because we were near our Family. There were some negative things: the internet was totally out for two days; they ran out of coffee for our room. These were both very needed amenities. The parking was okay, but the price had gone up to $23/day. There was parking along the side wall. Should have searched for it before we paid. The staff was excellent! The Bistro had good food. Solana Beach was very nice.

ROCHELLE at the front desk was fantastic. It’s rare to find kind, courteous & great customer service nowadays. I suggest staying on 2nd floor bc it’s very loud with people above… especially kids running around and TVS. Bed is comfortable and overall clean- although my daughter found hair in the bed.

We were there for the night as we hiked the Torrey Pines trails that day and on our way to San Diego. Great location and walkable to a secluded beach which we walked the next morning. Hotel was great overall. Internet, pool, dining option, easy check in and parking garage. Added bonus to the Thai restaurant and convenient store in shopping complex next to hotel. Definitely would stay here again.

This was not what we were expecting for the price, I would stay elsewhere more walkable. We were not given the room type we purchased and they said they had no more available even though the Marriot website still showed availability.

Best in Solana Beach
The woman at the front desk was so helpful, helping us with an early check in into a room that accounted for a diability but was still close to exits, coffee and the pool. The hotel is located across the street from the beach and right on PCH. We did not have a car and didn't need one for our 4 day trip.

Pleasant stay
We had a small issue with the bedding at the beginning of our three nights day... After the betting was promptly changed, we had a lovely stay. Although they have a bistro, the hours are extremely limited and it would have been nice to be able to have lunch by the pool. The only thing in the room that would have been helpful is to have a small table by the couch... But overall the room was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

So when we arrived there was about 3 squares of toilet paper no spare there was only 2 towels Monday morning the shampoo and body wash ran out also when cleaning didnt clean our room on Sunday also Monday morning employees were dragging pool furniture around very very noisy for 630am

Comfortable clean hotel with a nice pool but the traffic is a bit noisy. Good choices for breakfast and coffee! Only downside for us is that we requested rooms that were near to each other and didn’t receive them.

The location is outstanding. The property itself needs some small repairs -- e.g., my door did not close properly and I could hear my neighbor's conversation. The location is fantastic -- you can be on the beach in less than 5 minutes. There are excellent restaurants within walking distance. Did I mention the location?

It was a basically good room. The staff were very efficient and friendly. The light fixture under the TV needs to be repaired. Also, the smaller desk light did not work at all. The bistro was good for breakfast. The instant oatmeal should be made with more hot water. If the cook were paid more, perhaps you would have a cook on staff every day. We liked that the Bistro staff has health insurance. Street level parking would be an improvement.

Room was supposed to have a sitting area for 2, but did not. When I asked to change they said it was Orbitz faulty description yet their website had rooms with sitting areas. Staff was not accommodating. Shower was not clean, 2 lamps didn’t work, old worn out furnishings. Depressing room.
