Frosting on a Manure Pie

Stayed at many double tree properties and this one is near the bottom. Not sure if double tree has dropped their standards or what. The property appears to be an early 90s built resort that fell into disrepair then purchased and a bit of touch up was put on it when it needed to be often torn down to the framing and rebuilt. The room was moderately comfortable but symptoms of short cuts in remodel were everywhere. Including our key card that failed to work on three different occasions so we had to get a new one. The pool and spa areas are aweful. Very dilapidated and in disrepair. (Don't believe any photos). The front of the house staff were okay, mostly a bit young/unprofessional. The back of the house staff were fabulous. Very friendly and helpful. We won't be staying here again though.
