Nettes Hotel, aber kein Resort

Lage gut, direkt in der Nähe des Freeway, trotzdem nicht laut. Großes Zimmer mit lauter Badezimmerlüftung, sehr großes Bett, leider kein Kühlschrank! Eigentlich nette Anlage, aber unerwartete Großbaustelle! Die Lobby war schwer zu finden und die Riesenbaustelle machte die ganze Anlage ungemütlich. Generell waren echt wenig Gäste da, es wirkte fast ausgestorben. Man hat viel Personal rumlaufen gesehen, trotzdem hat uns nach dem Checkin keiner mit dem Gepäck geholfen. In unmittelbarer Umgebung sind Restaurants, die gute Qualität und Preise bieten. Dagegen war das Hoteleigene Restaurant echt überteuert, deswegen haben wir es gar nicht erst ausprobiert. der Pool war klein, aber ganz okay. Es war relativ viel Laub bzw. Stöckchen von den Bäumen im Wasser, das würde offenbar länger nicht entfernt. Richtig blöd: es gab an den Liegen nicht einen Sonnenschirm. Hab ich so auch noch nicht erlebt. Beim Checkin hat man uns die drei Tage WLAN, die eigentlich 3x6€ Kosten sollten (unverschämt), erlassen, weil wir sonst keine Leistungen in Anspruch genommen haben. Alles in allem wars für den Preis okay, aber nichts besonderes. Unter Hilton habe ich mir echt was anderes vorgestellt.

Pretty good except...

The golf resort is not a golf resort. The golf course closed down a few months ago. The resort is under going a massive renovation. Construction is considerable and a lot of the amenities are not available. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The shower was designed for the short people of the century before last. The disappointments began with the smoke alarm going off at 3:30 in the morning, and then every twenty minutes thereafter. I called the front desk and spoke with John W%$#@& who was less than helpful. I asked for a credit and he told me that since I prepaid for the room (Expedia, after all) that I would have to speak with someone in management about that. I showered, packed my belongings, loaded my vehicle, and went to the office to turn in my "keys" and to check out around 4:30 A.M. Sunday morning. I once again spoke with John W%$#@& and expressed my dissatisfaction with my full cost room coupled with the half nights rest. I asked him to have someone from management give me a call leaving my cell number and getting John's name. It is now one week from my stay in this "golf resort" and I am still waiting on someone from management to give me a call. Either John W%$#@& never passed on my request OR management is so unconcerned about a dissatisfied guest that they do not feel the need to return a requested call. Apparently they are not in the customer service, or customer satisfaction, business. Look elsewhere for a more proactive hotelier.

has a good patio where u can chill in the morning sunshine, just not private enough, but really nice. good get away for golfers and is in a really good area. everything is very close by.

The room and location are excellent. It only need a little touch up, be a good hotel. I am designer, for my view, basically inteor color was good only put one picture on the vacate wall and moved the big picture from next T V . It will good enough. Beth ro need a lot work.

Hotel needs Renovation

Cons: it shouldn't be like this they are working to renovate it and it should be closed all for renovation.
Location: It is far from most activities in San Diego
We went to the room and it was old and has a smell , the carpet was dirty not because it needs cleaning, No! it needs replacement, your feet becomes black when you step on it. The bathroom fan is noisy and some of the electrical switches don't work. They offered to change the room but it was all the same so my wife didn't want to change. There is no refrigerator or microwave in the room and we asked for one they send us old refrigerator doesn't work! The staff were good and helpful.

We arrived to our room, and it remakes of cigarette smoke, there was hair on the toilet and the balcony door handle was broken (we couldn't open the door to get the smoke smell out). We called guest services and they switched us to the room next door. Our new room did not smell but the TV was very fuzzy. When I asked about this I was told "yea some of the channels are like that" we will not be going there again. We have been in many hotels traveling and this was the 1st time I ever felt ripped off. The pictures on their site do not look like what you get. I guess it's the mom/nurse in me evaluating cleanliness and this was not acceptable. Not to mention there were young adults/teens partying next to us with hookah and alcohol on there balcony. Even the 7 yr old was disappointed.

Adaquate accomodation but less than we expected from a Doubletree. Carpets in eating area are overdue for a cleaning. Short staffed for morning breakfast.
