Very nicle, comfortable

Hotel was clean, staff was polite I will be staying there again. The staff turns on the bonfire and heater outside on the patio

the room furnace is old and loud. horrible night sleep. cleanliness, decor, and service were fine.

Disappointed

Pros: Location for driving to San Diego areas is excellent
Cons: Upgrade rooms, add amentities in rooms... mattresses should be more comfortable
Location: close to major freeways.... Close to La Jolla and other San Diego areas at an affordable price
I was disappointed in the double tree room. It was clean but outdated, with no amentities(no fridge, no coffee pot, no safe, no anything...). The mattress was uncomfortable, too stiff, maybe worn.. This hotel is in a business commercial lot yet they charge 12.00 a day to park.. Good location to drive to La Jolla, other parts of san diego, not good if you plan to walk to eat somewhere or take mass transit or a taxi.

Great choice for location!

Pros: food, bar, room, location
Cons: They were putting in new mattresses and refrigerators, but could use some new furniture in suites.
Location: Del Mar is a treasure trove of fun, trendy things to see and do.
We stayed in a King Suite for less than a competitor hotel was going to be for a regular room. Enjoyed the room service, lounge with full bar and ease of parking. No valet parking offered, but none needed!

Nice hotel

The stay was fine. Their price is competitive with the other hotels in the area, but the add on cost will make this hotel more expensive. It cost 14 dollars a day to park on the flat lots around the hotel. Also no complimentary breakfast buffet at this hotel, but others in the area offer free breakfast. Nice hotel but next time I'm in the area I will stay somewhere else that offers a better value.

Average hotel

The rooms are clean. The breakfast quality is average and the restaurant staff are very lazy to serve you. They never asked if you need anything and basically you have to chaise them for everything. the reception staff also not been trained properly on how to welcome the guests (this is very basic thing in their position).
