The hotel is not clean and high parking fee.

Excellent location!

Big suite, very clean, quiet in the bedroom when loud in the hallway as had a door between bedroom & living room. Good breakfast buffet. Enjoyed the free wine in the atrium. Perfect location with beautiful views all around! Only drawback is the parking fee.

Nice hotel with a great view of downtown San Diego

Pros: The hotel staff nice and they have a great buffet.
Cons: A better solution on how to handle an incident of their key machine crashes again.
Location: The location was great, next to Sea Port Village and Harbor pier
I booked a getaway for my friend and I. We checked into our room on Thursday night; late evening. We were in our room for about 30 minutes or so when someone opened the door. My friend happen to be in the living area while I was in the bedroom changing. He was surprised when the other couple started walking in and saw him. Apparently the front desk gave the couple our same room. I called the front desk and spoke to gentlemen and he apologized and said for us to stay in the room. We decided to go down to the café located in the hotel to order a meal to bring back to our room. When we returned to the room, our key card wasn't working. I thought maybe the front desk had deactivated the key card because of the incident with giving someone else our room but apparently they were having issues with the keys not working for other folks. They couldn't even rekey our cards because their key machine had crashed. We had to wait awhile for their bell person to open our room with the master key because he was already assisting another person. My friend wasn't so happy because his dinner was getting cold. We finally got into our room; what a night. The next morning I had the room keys re-issued and all they could say is we are sorry for the inconvenience. The next day, Friday was much better. If it wasn't for the mishap of Thursday evening, I would of given the hotel a better rating.

It is an unfortunate circumstance, however our amazing IT department was able to get the system back up and running in under 30 minutes. I hope you will consider staying with us again next time you travel to San Diego.

At first it seems good value, but when you they charge $46 for parking it is the same deal as better hotels nearby! Overall good for me as it was late night decision for sleeping only

Large room

Good living and dining space. Good for family. Not so far from local grocery store.

Great Hotel with perfect location

Pros: location, breakfast, room, staff
Cons: Hotel driving entrance could be bigger and easier to find.
One of the best experiences in my life. Almost everything is perfect to me, especially the location. Walking distance to many famous attractions and restaurants. Although it's in downtown, everywhere nearby is very safe, clean and beautiful, even in midnight. The breakfast just like a feast, make me feels like in a cruise. The staff is so warm heart, treat me like a friend. Although the room looks not new, it's very clean and has everything you want.

Air conditioning system is making too much noise. Crowded during 7:30am breakfast time but the food is good.

awesome view, nice clean rooms, near to Village

It was a very a pleasant experience staying at this place, lavish breakfast, evening drinks, near by shopping village and downtown. You cant ask for more at this price. Will come back again.
