Pleasant Stay

Had a very good stay here. There were many little things that they did well that makes them stand out from other hotels. Dimmer lights, extra trash bins, umbrella included in the room (it was raining during our stay), turn down service, complimentary water, in room wifi tablet for use, face wipes (which my wife appreciated).

It's a great spot in the heart of la jolla very good restaurant in lobby great mens clothing stores just a few blocks away over all a wonderful hotel in a beautiful setting.

Nice service and a great place to stay!

They have a great customer service ever!!!! They are very knowledgeable and friendly. It's closer to any good hot spots. We could literally walk to the beach. The room is clean and nice. With breakfast is just great. Wanna come back here again definitely!

Great hotel

Excellent location, easy walking distance to beach and all village restaurants and shops. Hotel room amenities are well thought out. Can easily park on the street overnight if you don't wish to valet the car.

Spontaneous, didnt expect much but received 200 %

Pros: Location, staff, service, the room, dog friendly, cleanliness
Cons: Breakfast attitude from the person who is in charge for that
Location: Convenient & quite location, some construction works in the morning but it didn't bother us.
It was a great hotel, location was perfect, very professional staff, walking distance to everything. If you are into running or morning walks, 5 min away there is a beautiful board walk/run. Many restaurant options for Fish lovers. The only one thing that kept my smile down was breakfast..... When the clock would hit 9:20 am ( closure time for breakfast is 9:30 am ) the gentlemen who runs " the kitchen" would get VERY upset if anyone walks in and grabs quick breakfast on the go ..... I witnessed few elderly people walking in and asking to refill hot water and coffee jar to which they received a solid response " No, breakfast is closed at 9:30 am" . Next morning after that a father with 4 kids ( 4-7 y.o ) walked in at 9:25 am and received similar treatment.....I certainly respect breakfast hours, and consider a possibility that the employee/gentlemen in his 40s-50s in the kitchenette has another job that he has to rush to ... at the same time there needs to be an alternative for those " late guests" who have a lot on their shoulders and would appreciate the " ease " of their getaway. Just a thought. Parking is offered by valet service which is 28 $ per night and for those who want to skip it there are plenty public parking garages around the block.

Ideal downtown location

Pros: Room, location, staff
Cons: More space for fitness.
Location: Good location. Easy to walk to waterfront, shops and restaurants.
Nice spot within walking distance to everything downtown. We were on the backside of the hotel where it was a bit noisy early in the morning. Fitness room small and very basic. Room and bath just fine.

Nice hotel and excellent location

The hotel staff were extremely nice and helpful throughout our stay. The location was great. Within a few blocks of la Jolla cove and in the middle of great restaurants and shopping. Complimentary continental breakfast was provided which was okay. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay and will definitely stay here again.
