Had a lovely stay. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. My flight was delayed and they promptly got back letting me know they would keep my booking. Keep up the amazing work!

Nice and clean hotel in proximity of a georgous beach. A little pricy but very convenient in terms of access to waterfront, restaurants, shopping and etc.

If you are pet friendly,it would be good but...

Pros: location and freindly staff
Cons: do not give the next door room of guest with pet to another guest without pet.
Location: you can jok or taka a walk sea side every morning, and several wonderful restarants near by!
it was hard to sleep when doggy from next door room bark. If you don't want to be disturbed, you should ask the hotel staff to change your room! Except that part, most of all is very nice.

Clean and comfortable

Pros: Very clean. The bed is really comfortable. The room is very bright. There are plenty of electrical outlets. Very convenient.
Location: The location is in La Jolla village. Easy access to the beach. There are plenty of bar and restaurants near by.
The room is very clean, quiet and comfortable. A lot of space. The front desk is very friendly and helpful. It was a wonderful experience. The bed is really comfortable. The room is very bright. There are plenty of electrical outlets. Very convenient. Great for business trips. The location is in La Jolla village, so easy access to the beach.

Good hotel in downtown La Jolla

My wife and I have stayed at the Empress many times through the years in the mid size hotel. The rooms are clean and the bed comfortables. The continental breakfast is good and the staff competent and pleasant.

Lovely hotel in a good location

I'm so glad we stayed at this hotel. Our rooms were very nice, the staff was super friendly, and the free breakfast was nice. The two cons: no pool and their "dog policy. " We were told they are dog friendly but when we got there the lady said they have an extensive policy and within it says you can't leave your dog in your room unattended. Had we seen the policy beforehand, we probably would not have brought our dog.

It`s a nice Hotel close to the beach.

Pros: Nice atmosphere and a good restaurant.
Cons: The Hotel should have his own parking area.
Location: Very nice location close to the beach. Walking to the beach takes just view minutes. Nice restaurants avilable nearby.
Very frendly and helpfull personal on the front desk. Rooms are clean and in very good conditions.

A great discovery

Pros: Better than I expected...I was quite pleased.
Cons: Everything was acceptable and satisfactory to me.
Location: Walking distance to the beach and shopping.
Not on the ocean, but close by. Very friendly staff and quite attentive.Free expanded continental breakfast and an extraordinary Italian restaurant for dinner!
