This hotel was okay

I expected a bit more from this hotel. I thought the kitchen was a bit lacking, no luggage tray, the bed seemed small and uncomfortable, there was no recycling and no cleaning service either.

For the price, the hotel was a disappointment I would not recommend this hotel.

Convenient location to central Carlsbad.

Pros: OK bed
Cons: Need better pillows and better soundproofing to outside noise.
Location: < a mile to Carlsbad village. Short drive to beach and Legoland.
Austere rooms with small kitchen. Clean. Rock hard pillows. Lots of freeway noise. Pleasant receptionist. Free s-l-o-w wifi. Snack style free breakfast included muffin, granola bars, fresh orange and coffee.

Pros: Nothing
Location: Next to freeway.
Maid service was every 8 days. But they did give me maid service the 2nd day. I didn't know the realize type of hotel I was staying in. If did I would have found something else.

Staying a quick night

When we first got out of the elevator, we get greeted by the smell of smoke residue in the hallway. Clean and Nice kitchen but we didn't have to use it. Only one shampoo for a family of 4 provided. Breakfast should be called continental since the only hot is coffee. Wifi was super slow and you have to pay extra for a faster speed.

I reserved through expedia. I was told the room was for smoking. I explained that i am allergic to cig. smoke but the lady said this was the only room left and never apologized for the mistake.

Room smelled like cigarettes

I specifically asked the gentleman in the front for non Smoking room because I was traveling with my kids and I was placed in a smoking room .

Simple motel/hotel with minimal amenities

Pros: Tidy, near Legoland, could walk to some restaurants.
Cons: Breakfast options.
Location: Legoland
My son and I were there for one night and it was fine. For there person who wants a bed and a bathroom it's perfect. There is no breakfast. There is a grab and go (oatmeal, granola bars, coffee). I could have paid the same price and had a breakfast bar at a nearby hotel. The staff were polite. Nothing wrong with this hotel but nothing great, either.

Arrived late to our room given away. Over booked?!

I called the hotel to confirm our room that we were arriving late and when we arrived our room was given away. They overbooked. And couldn't find us a room! Awful!!!!
