Reasonable hotel prices for overnight business

I travel for business and stayed here for the first time in San Diego, CA. Prefect accommodation for my overnight stay. Friendly staff. Very helpful with advise of local eating restaurants nearby. Overall, an excellent experience.

Just a motel with kitchen

The noise from the fridge was really loud and annoying at nite. The heater is near the bed and it was loud too. The entrance door had some gaps and outside air was coming in. So needed to keep the heater on. The closet area was too dark even all lights on.

Quiet location

Pros: Close to UCSD Thornton Hospital
Location: Industrial area. No close restaurants
Easy check in. Room as expected-our fourth visit. No wild parties all night long.

Great location - that is all.

Upon check in, I was nervous as two others were attempting to check in and their reservations were not in the system. Fortunately, mybreservation was there and i checked in quickly. I love the neighborhood as it was quiet. The room was clean. Horrible bed. Horrible bedding. Ripped towels. Flat pillows and beard my neighbors all night. Barely slept. Never again. My back is killing me.

The bed sheet & pillows is not clean

Pros: enough parking and likely could park within very short walk to your room
Cons: Review ways on washing pillow & bed sheets. Or is there a concern at the mattress
Location: It's good
I stay one night with a friend at a twin bed room. My friend found hairs at 2 of the 3 pillows at his bed and both of us feel itchy when sleep at the bed. The staffs we met with are find and the outlook are ok in compare with their rate while hygiene is very base and could not be compromise. This is my first time staying with this brand, hope this is an exceptionally unit situation.

Decent hotel for the price

Pros: Price, location, staff
Cons: Some rooms smell, comfort of room
Location: There is so much to do nearby. Centrally located in Northern SD.
This was the 2nd time I've stayed at this hotel. It's nothing fancy, but it is definitely worth the cheaper price of the hotel. I like that the rooms have kitchenettes too. The first room we were given did smell pretty musty, so we asked to switch rooms and they gladly moved us. Comfort of the room is decent. The bed isn't anything spectacular, but comfy enough. I thought it was kind of weird that for that big of a bed (and 2 people), they give you 3 pillows... A 4th would have been nice. We asked for dishes and silverware, and they brought them right up. If you're looking for a decent and cheap place to stay, this place is definitely worth it.

It was ok

I was called by staff telling me the front desk was closed at 11pm and I was at a conference and had to rush back. I read my check in information and it said latest I could check in was actually 12am. Also no warm water for a shower the next day. I had to shower in cold water.

It was surprisingly well!!

It was surprisingly well. A lot more better than my expectation with a 2.5 starring review. I stayed only 1 night at San Diego, the room and facilities were good. And it's good to have kitchen, and bathroom altogether in the unit, even though I didn't use the kitchen, but that made me feel comfortable. I would give them 4 stars and recommend it to my friend!
