Decent hotel for the price

Posted Sep 22, 2016
Pros: Price, location, staff
Cons: Some rooms smell, comfort of room
Location: There is so much to do nearby. Centrally located in Northern SD.
This was the 2nd time I've stayed at this hotel. It's nothing fancy, but it is definitely worth the cheaper price of the hotel. I like that the rooms have kitchenettes too. The first room we were given did smell pretty musty, so we asked to switch rooms and they gladly moved us. Comfort of the room is decent. The bed isn't anything spectacular, but comfy enough. I thought it was kind of weird that for that big of a bed (and 2 people), they give you 3 pillows... A 4th would have been nice. We asked for dishes and silverware, and they brought them right up. If you're looking for a decent and cheap place to stay, this place is definitely worth it.

It was ok

Posted Sep 11, 2016
I was called by staff telling me the front desk was closed at 11pm and I was at a conference and had to rush back. I read my check in information and it said latest I could check in was actually 12am. Also no warm water for a shower the next day. I had to shower in cold water.

It was surprisingly well!!

Posted Sep 6, 2016
It was surprisingly well. A lot more better than my expectation with a 2.5 starring review. I stayed only 1 night at San Diego, the room and facilities were good. And it's good to have kitchen, and bathroom altogether in the unit, even though I didn't use the kitchen, but that made me feel comfortable. I would give them 4 stars and recommend it to my friend!

部屋の中も外も清潔感はありません。男性一人の短期滞在であれば耐えられますが、家族滞在は避けた方がよい

Posted Aug 28, 2016
Pros: ホテルフロント従業員の対応は良い
Cons:

Bad smell

Posted Aug 14, 2016
Pros: Location
Cons: Room quality, cleanliness, decor
The non-smoking room still smelled like smoke. The smell permeated suitcase, clothes, everything. Disappointing.

Disappointing

Posted Aug 8, 2016
It started when we first walked into the room. The refridgerator wasn't working, and the roll of toilet paper had about 2 sheets left in it. The last sheet was folded in a point, but really? I picked up the phone to call the front desk and there was no dial tone. So I went to the iffice. They came and fixed everything. The next morning, I was expecting an actual continental breakfast but found only small packaged muffins and granola bars. There were packages of instant oatmeal but only cups to make it in. No juice, the dark roast coffee was empty. The towels were worn and musty smelling and there were long hairs in the bathroom. Staff were all very helpful and friendly though and the room was nicely decorated.

Pros: Free coffee in the morning. Helps you get started in the morning and forget your night experience.
Cons: Change the furniture, provide more security. Anybody, can walk up straight to you room from the quit street.
Location: Nothing to do nearby.
I got a smoking room and I don't smoke. My saliva tasted like nicotine all night. The TV was fine, everything else was more like a motel

Not wanting to Extend our Stay

Posted Jun 18, 2016 on Hotels
This was our first stay Extended Stay America hotel so I don't know if the policies at this one are the same everywhere. After getting settled in (using the 2 hangers that were in the closet), we realized there was no coffee pot or dishes or anything in the kitchen. We had to go back to the front desk and request the items we needed i.e. our "customized package". We only needed a coffee pot and cups due to planning just a short stay. In the morning we found out the coffee pot did not work. Fortunately the microwave did and we had our hot water. Most things we take for granted at regular hotels are missing or second rate at this hotel so just be aware when planning and making reservations. Bring everything you will need for the stay.
