It was very clean: the lobby, the dining area and the room. It had all the expected I liked that breakfast was included, but didn’t like that it ends at 9am, even on weekends, so I didn’t make it to breakfast.

Although it's not the nicest area of town, for the price, the room was big and beautiful! And the bed was a comfy and gorgeous new king. This place was recently renovated so the decor and furnishings are obviously new. The complimentary breakfast had a good selection and the coffee was nicely brewed - not weak as with many other places that I've stayed that served free breakfast. A workout room is something that I need so I really appreciated that there was one. Although small, it was awesome bc all of the equipment is new. The only downsides were that the TV did not have any usb port for my Chromecast and the shower water pressure wasn't as strong as I like for my long hair. Despite that, it was a pleasant stay esp bc there are so many eateries nearby. DoorDash had many many options and delivery was fast.

Nice clean property in a questionable neighborhood but the lower price is the draw. We felt safe and will return. Elevator buttons work intermittently, otherwise it was fine.

Parked in lower level and some broke into my car. Didn't want to make a complain, because we were already leaving and didn't want to wait to long. Need to be better secure. Everything else of prooerty was grwat.

Hotel was great, very clean and modern. There was a lot of parking which was a great! The only thing I disliked was breakfast time. There is no room whatsoever. If you’re lucky to get a table people’s butts are in your face, there’s no start or finish. I only saw one woman refilling everything, definitely need another staff member. I know it’s not so much the hotels fault but if they had a bigger dining area I think it would help and have more space between where the food is and tables.

It was one of the best hotels we stayed at during our 3 week holiday. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting san diego to stay here. Very clean and beautifully presented and well up kept rooms.

Decent value compared to the rest of the area. Could not hear freeway noise from the room. Sheets were nice/soft. The blackout curtains could've been longer. Small bathroom smelled a lil moldy and didn't vent out well. AC/fan on the wall had to be tricked into running. Breakfast was very crowded, get there early.

The Property was fenced and gated, with high level of Electronic Monitoring, which made us feel safe. We loved the showers and fluffy towels, the internet connection, the coffee service, and the beds. The location was an easy on to Hiway 8, although we got a little lost coming back the other direction. There were still remnants of the recent renovations, but that did not bother us. Overall, we truly enjoyed the stay!

Pet area is probably the best I’ve ever seen. Love hard floors instead of carpet. God only knows what hides in carpeted rooms. Parking is awful. They need widen the spaces. Thank goodness I’m a small person, but it was a real joy getting a dog out of the car.

Calling this property the Sea World Comfort Inn is misleading, as it is located in an isolated warehouse/industrial neighborhood several miles from Sea World. There are no restaurants withing walking distance and no forms of transportation besides Uber/Lyft. Given all that the property itself was well kept. The room was clean and extremely comfortable - the beds made it hard to get up and the shower was perfect. A breakfast is provided and it looked very nice, but the small room was far too crowded for me to get to anything but the coffee. It was perfectly comfortable for a one night stay but I would not want to base my vacation at that location.

I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends. Free breakfast was great. Was their for a Marine graduation very close to the Marine base 0.63 miles.Much cheaper then hotel across from the base.

Was a decent stay, minus they don’t have updated photos to show that the property right next to it is a migrant hotel…. Full fenced of property like staying right next to a jail… restaurants right next to it have since been boader up and covered in graffiti and large homeless presence. I’d stay again but for sure wouldn’t bring my family again.

The breakfast area was too small to accommodate all customers. There was no seat, foods and juice were out of stock, and tables were messy. The facility was likely to have been renovated recently and the condition was ok. The location was also good being close to the old town and sea world.
