The breakfast room was under renovation so we had the breakfast in the meeting room it was really small and very difficult to walk around lots of things was missing in the buffet no boiled eggs one type of jam if you ask for different flavors they go to get it from another room

The property has some construction going on; however, it was dust free and quiet during our stay. Staff was helpful and very courteous. Would stay here again.

Great little hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast was great. The only downside was part of the hotel was under construction but it was kept clean

I stayed here for business for 2 days and it was great. It is right across the street from a Starbucks, Sandwich Place, and Liquor Store. The location was great for where I needed to go (The meeting was down the street about 4 minutes away) . It is about 30 minutes away from Downtown which isn't too bad. Staff was helpful and friendly. I would stay here again for business.

This is a nicely managed location with clean rooms and polite staff. However, Expedia.com and other sites might advertise the rooms as having a "suite." None of the rooms at this location have suites.

Recent floods damaged many SanDiego areas, including apparently some of downstairs in one small area. Pool was inaccessible. But. Beautiful room. Wonderful service. Clean friendly Starbucks and Jersey Mikes sandwich shop right outside. Hotel breakfast great variety and very pleasant ambiance. Highly recommend this hotel.

Easy access from hwy 805 and located in a safe & quiet neighborhood. A starbucks and a convenient store across the property is a savior. Property appears to be renovated recently and maintained clean. Some renovation still in progress but didn't bother. The hotel provides free continental breakfast buffet in the morning. Though does not provide couple water bottles in each room even for a charge. Coffee maker is present but no bottled water....was a bit strange. Rest was all great!!

The property has been completely remodeled and was very clean and comfortable. I’m as pleasantly surprised. In the same parking lot there is a Starbucks, Jersey Mike’s and a liquor store. It was very convenient.

This is our fourth time staying at this hotel while visiting our Aztec at SDSU and it’s perfect for a weekend stay. The rooms have been/are being redone and the redone rooms are comfortable and nicely done. The staff is always so friendly. The complimentary continental breakfast is nicely sized and we love that normal check-out is at 12pm instead of 11am like everywhere else. The location is a business area, so not touristy with walkable restaurants, but there’s a Starbucks and Jersey Mike’s in the complex. It’s 11 miles (about 15 minutes) from SDSU and is so easy to get in an out of. The parking is plentiful too. Well’ e been happy every time we’ve stayed here and will stay here again when we are back in San Diego.
