Very comfortable

Our stay was short but very comfortable. The beds were Goldilocks and so were the pillows. Our room was clean and had several towels available to use. I would recommend staying here if you're in need of a place to lay your head for a night or two.

Quiet and Comfy

Pros: I liked that it was clean, quiet and had comfortable beds.
Cons: I wish they had a restaurant inside, but there was a Denny's and other restaurants close-by.
Location: Right off the freeway. Plenty of shops and restaurants close to hotel. Movie theater across the freeway.
Was here for a 2-day "stay-cation". Hotel was updated. Had a room on the 4th floor, facing the highway, but it was surprisingly quiet. No traffic noise. Room was clean and the beds were very comfy. Sleeping on them was a dream. We loved the breakfast buffet in the morning. There was no pool here, but we were told we were free to use the pool at the neighboring hotel because it was the same owner.

Positive experience. Only negative was check in tool over 30 min. and we were the only ones checking.

Good hotel

Nice and clean hotel that is close to SD Safari Park. Only complaint I have is that they gave us the handicap room even though we are not handicap, so using the shower there was a challenge. The shower head was waist level so I had to squat to shower.

A Great Place to Stay in Mira Mesa / Scripps Ranch

Was pleasantly surprised at the courteous service, comfort, and quiet in this recently refurbished Holiday Inn Express. The room looked great, and the beds were very comfortable. We also appreciated the free wifi, and the surprisingly yummy, complimentary, continental breakfast. My only point of dissatisfaction was the fact that there was no ventilation in the bathroom. Also, the bathroom did not have an drawers to put toiletries in -- we had to leave things out on the counter. All-in-all, the accomodations were great.

Really nice, quiet and good breakfast.

We stayed here because it's close to where my son lives. Our room was a nice size and the king size bed was very comfortable. We also liked that it was nice and quiet. The breakfast was excellent with eggs, sausage, pancakes, cereal and really good coffee. I would highly recommend it and will stay here from now on when visiting my son.

Very enjoyable weekend getaway!

We wanted to spend a couple of nights away from everything to just relax and spend some time together. This hotel was a great choice, and we will definitely be coming back! The free breakfast is definitely a plus. The hotel was a lot cleaner and more gorgeous than I expected! The room size was also bigger than average. The staff was so friendly, always greeting us whenever we were seen and the ladies from housekeeping seemed so sad to see us go. We can't wait to come back !

A convenient location for our family to pick us up

Location: Near to major roads to go places in San Diego (especially Safari Park), shopping areas, restaurants.
We were very happy in this hotel. It was clean, convenient to highways, pleasant staff, good breakfasts.

Nice location.

Nice location. Very close to the 15 freeway and local shops. The rooms are okay. The drapes don't completely block outside light and don't close to make way for the AC vents.
