Pros: Located close to restaurants. Breakfast area is large, did not feel cramped like other Holiday Inn Expresses
Cons: It was great that it was located by the freeway, but I did hear the freeway noise.
Staff is very friendly. Large breakfast area. Located close to many restaurants.

Nice Hotel

Posted Jan 6, 2016
Location: LEGOLAND was about 30 minutes away and we were very thankful we didn't stay at the LEGOLAND hotel since we really needed a break after too much Lego.
Nice room but don't think the thermostat was working very good but outside temperature was very nice so didn't need it too much. Breakfast was very good!

The thermostat in our room did not work properly.

Posted Jan 4, 2016
Pros: staff is very diligent.
We stay there for two nights and we had to call for repair of the heating system twice on the second day. We were cold on the first night because no matter how high we set the thermostat we found out that we only had cool air.

Worst structure bad service

Posted Dec 28, 2015
The building structure was worst....my room was just above the receiption., to use the elevator I had to walk a very long corridor from the reception then take the elevator then walk back...( about 20 rooms)...I walked through the entire hotel searching for a trolley during chk out and found a faulty one, managed to move my things to car using this then realized that all trolleys were waiting outside the exit door closest to the elevator...I thought some arrogant guest... But after loading my car, I realised that other guest were not arrogant but the door needs the key to reenter but the card doesn't work after check out.... And lobby door was good 300 meter away... Not sure if the operation pays any attention Also I had asked for baby cribs, which I believe is basic need and hotel staff were sulpose do get back to me and never did they... Breakfast was another bad exp...I informed the staff that I am vegan...and she paid no attention and said I can have fruits....is that the idea of vegan.....when you guys pay so much attention to nut allergy, pls pay little to vegans too

This felt like a Holiday Inn back in the '70s - old, orange carpet, lingering smell of smoke, etc. The staff was nice and the room was fine, but in general the place is definitely ready for an upgrade.

Just Ok

Posted Oct 21, 2015
Pros: Nice roomy armoire and dresser for unpacking suitcases into. Lots of shelves in shower. Lots of comfy pillows.
Cons: Fix the reservation thing. If you ask for and reserve a 2-bed room, and it's confirmed, honor the reservation. I won't book here again.
When I called the morning of our trip to confirm, I was told that there were no more 2-bed rooms, even though that is what I had reserved. According to the rep, I booked a "standard" room which could be one or two beds, and all the 2-bed rooms had been booked when I reserved. When I asked if that was a king, she said yes. When I arrived, clearly it was not. Maybe a small queen, probably a full. Noticed this in a previous review by someone else; should have paid heed. The bed was so hard, I ended up sleeping on the sofa bed, which makes out to a twin size bed. The room was clean. Was an ADA room. Had to prop the bathroom door open with a suitcase, as it was self-closing, and although I could see a fan on the ceiling, there was no switch to operate it. So door had to be open after showers. The staff was nice, bringing extra blankets when requested, as the thermostat immediately returned to 72 after all attempts to adjust higher. The AC was very loud and required the TV to be turned up loud to cover the sound. Basic continental breakfast, including hot/cold cereal, waffles, pastries, etc.

Dear Diane, We appreciate you taking the time to give us your feedback. I am so sorry there was an issue with your reservation and room type that you booked. We will further investigate how and why this has happened so that it does not happen again. We are happy that you liked the roomy armoire and dresser and the comfy pillows. Have a great day!

Pros: clean facility, spacious, great breakfast.
clean facility with friendly staff and great breakfast with easy check out. could use a bit more sound proofing. noisier than my college dorm which was quiet. we were on first floor and much noise from room above us which seemed to be a family with young people bouncing all over the place.
