Great hotel

Great room has a small kitchen to make some food. Its like being in a small apartment. The housekeeping staff are very friendly and nice.

Worst "hotel" I've ever been to.

We left 3 days into what was supposed to be our week long reservation. Staff make you feel like you're in prison. I had to check in and check out 2 days in a row because a simple booking error couldn't be fixed? Only one of the front desk staff at this hotel was professional (Love to Mike!) and the rest could use a course on customer sevice. I worked in the industry 10 years now and I don't complain about service unless it is exquisitely bad. This place is worthy of my worst review.

An excellent location for restaurants.

Pros: All conveniences were provided, including a refrigerator and a microwave.
Cons: It would be better if safety handles were provided in the shower.
Location: The location was good for our purposes, and there were several restaurants close by.
We felt we made a good choice in staying at the Howard Johnson Inn. The continental breakfast provided was good, and the staff friendly. There is also a swimming pool for guests. Connections with the transit trolley are within a block.

Right next to Mexico

Last resort

If I had a option and more time to look I definitely would have! Rude woman with burgundy hair at front desk refused to give me towels because she didn't appreciate me telling someone the hotel barely had any decent rooms and I had to look through 3 rooms before I settled. I had to go purchase my own towels because it seemed the staff always gave my family and I stained towels and rags. Hotel has no smoking policy but smelled of marijuana and cheap cigs in my non smoking room the smell came right through your windows and door if you wanted to open for fresh air my car kept getting dirty because of the sloppy repair that was going on on the roof I work graveyard not only couldn't I get towels for a decent shower I couldn't rest because of the noise on roof. Pool did not get cleaned my entire stay so on the only hot day of the week I couldn't swim after being told twice tomorrow tomorrow it'll be cleaned. I had prepaid my room for a week for xxx dollars wasn't even offered a discount after my experience or even an apology didn't even get a thank you come again upon checkout! Never again will I stay here and will definitely be making a complaint to the BBB because this motel needs some structure and guidance and better caring staff more English speaking staff as well. 0 stars from me sorry but the truth can't be sugar coated here you guys should be ashamed! Of course the response will be a generic one so if the response can't be sincere at least this review will help others.

Horrible customer service. Rude staff

My experience started before I even arrived. I called to inform the front desk that I was going to be checking in late due to traffic, and was told that my room may not be available because Fridays are the busiest day and that they can guarantee my room would be available despite the fact that I had a reservation through expedia. The worker went on to say that people reserve rooms with credit cards that are declined and they lose money by holding rooms for deadbeats like that. I was beyond angry. I called expedia to inform them. Expedia called and resolved the situation. The next morning I got up , I sat on the couch and the maintenance man just opened the door without warning, looked at me and asked if he left any supplies in the room, never mind the fact that I'm in my underwear. If that wasn't enough there was major roofing work being done so the banging and stomping overhead was unbearable on both days, Friday and Saturday was unbearable. By far this was the worst experience I've ever had.

Enjoy and a horrible stay..

It was horrible...Compared to years ago when I last stayed there in 2014. I highly spoke about it and it was a complete disappointment. There was roach's and druggies. A bad environment for my children. There was plumbing problems that did not successfully fix during our stay. The sink was installed with 3 tiny hooks and came off causing me to slip while trying to catch it, keep in mind I'm 35 weeks pregnant and a small person in general, then not only did the manager, but the owner as well were completely rude about the situation and did not seem to care and excused why it came off. Ooh and the morning we needed to check out there was no hot water, so tried to heat up water so my children and I could try to bathe before leaving causing a huge inconvenience and delay. And the manager once again failed to cared or be considerate. Never again will I stay there .. Especially for the price they charge.. plus they do allow any extra pillows or towels to their customers and they say they have contential breakfast but they dont.

Lots of sketchy people roaming around this place. They force you to sign a lengthy list of rules as if you are little more to them than a nuisance and a potential threat. Despite notifying the agent that I had stayed several times before he still condescended to ask if I had any questions about the "rules" even after I signed it with no resistance at all. The experience of staying here was so insulting that I will contact the CEO of Wyndham to inform him why he has lost me as a loyal customer for good. Shame on the people who run this place...and one last thing, THERE IS NO WIFI
